This is the perfect replacement
shaft for the NMT 3548 .
Replacing the shaft is easy just heat up the small nut with a soldering iron and the Locktide glue is melting and with a little force the old shaft can be easy replaced

Unfortunately sometimes you need this stuff. I recommend to by at least one or two directly with the motor to spare waiting time in case of need. Good quality.
