It's actually 41.2mm long, not 45mm long.
If you need a 45mm shaft, order product SHT007 instead.
I told Hobby King about this issue, but they haven't fixed it in the product listings.
Ive ordered this item twice, each time 11 of, total 22..
It's falsely advertised as being 45mm long when its only 40.5mm long.
I now have 22 of them I have no use for!
Strip the motor as far as you can, so there should just be the shaft and motor case. Grip the shaft with a pair of pliers and slowly turn the casing, that should release it from the glue

NO, your shaft is 3.17mm diameter. This shaft is 3mm. Your 3.17mm shaft is the metric eqivelent of 1/8th inch or .125" You can probably find drill rod, or 1/8th inch rod stock at the hardware store to make your own. Put the shaft in a drill and spinn it and cut the snap ring groove with a dremel tool. Hope this helped.
M. Aizuddin, I think I found a shaft that will work for your motor. KDS-20-L, input this part-number in the serch box (upper left from here) This shaft is 6mm longer than yours, but is listed as 3.17mm diameter and has the E-ring grove in the end, and you can cut off the 6mm excess from the other end (prop end) is you don't need it. Hope this helped.
This is the perfect replacement shaft for the NMT 2826 ; Replacing the shaft is easy just heat up the small nut with a soldering iron and the Locktide glue is melting and with a little force the old shaft can be easy replaced
Comprei vários destes eixos para te-los no estoque para reposição. São de 3mm de diametro por 42mm de comprimento. Não consigo entender porque a HK não coloca as medidas da maioria dos eixos que vende. As pessoas vivem perguntando e eles não dão a mÃnima atenção. Simplesmente não entendo...

I've bought two of this shafts just for spares, but I've broken one of my 4 motor shafts from my quad.
I've tried to replace the shaft, but....the original one measures 42mm, and this one is 45mm!!!
