If took an air hogs titan foam glider (the throw glider made of foam that peaple love to convert to RC) and converted it to RC would this be a good motor to put on the front of the plane with a Turnigy Type A Beech wood 8x4 propeller.
It is the prop adapter shown at the end of the motor shaft in the picture of the KA36-12M.
Thanks

9 thumbs up!
Great motor for my purposes..Used it on a 1800 gram home built with a Jeti 40 amp esc, an 8x6 3 blade prop on a 2250 20C 3 cell. Pulled a max of 34 amps. Flew it in too much wind for the plane but still gave me good headway. Plenty of power am ordering another.

Excellent motor for the Yak 54, paired with 35 A ESC, 10x5 eprop. Goes ballistic vertical, hovers at 50pcnt throttle, 3D with authority until you turn blue in the face with excitement.
Great product, fantastic price, fast delivery and excellent customer service HC!

I USED THESE IN THE SHARK COROPLAST WING AND IT REALLY ZOOMS. USED A 9X6 AERONAUT PROP WITH THE HXT 36A ESC. RUNS FAST WITH A 2100mah 11.1V 15C 3S

Awesome motor for a great prize! Installed it on my Mini Ultra Stick, using a 35a Esc,2200mah 11.1v 20c batt. The model was airborne in 3 feet an accelerated vertically like a rocket!! WOW.... However, with a 35a Esc, and a 10x5 prop, i started to get control problems at full power. Not sure how many amp's the motor pulled, but it was more than the Esc could handle. Using a turnigy 60a esc on it now, with no control problems.
