l and my daughter have ben racing these ZIPPY 5800 30 c 2cell 7.4v packs for over a moth now and thay,r do,n grate. I run a SC10 with TRAXXAS brushles and she runs a stock SLASH wich both r 2wd and we get about 18-20 mins in race conditions during practice .l have seen 40 mins when i,v ben just bashing around . l like this battery

Well don't buy this battery, HobbyKing will ship you a broken battery and what yo to pay for shipping back to them, then they want you to reorder and pay again for shipping to get the replacement, what a good bunch of people! Not Professional at all.

I can understand your feeling on that. I had a great transaction and the 2 5800's I received work great. I have no problem running 18-20 mins on my local track on my SC10 2wd and Traxxas brushless system.

If you cut a notch in the battery tray rail for the battery leds. It's a tight fit but work well and my battery is not coming out.

Can this battery be purchased with Dean's connector instead of the 5.5mm bullet connector?

I don't think they offer with deans. These have the large 5 or 5.5mm bullet connectors on them. It would be hard for HK to make everyone happy, so they just usually go with the Yellow connectors or bullets.

it's not a big deal to use 5.5 mm bullets and soldered to deans and make a removable extension. that's what I do to be most flexible...

i just bilt a adapter frum 5.5s to traxxas that way no chance of voiding the warrenty

Like it?

I purchased 2 of these and they arrived perfectly balanced at 3.8V per cell. I have put 2 brutal runs on these today in my brushless e revo and my Savage Flux HP. On both runs they came out of my trucks barely warm to the touch. They are a tight fit in my battery boxes but I manage to squeeze them in there. So far an excellent battery!

Well don't buy this battery, HobbyKing will ship you a broken battery and want you to pay for the shipping back to them, then they want you to re-order and pay again for the shipping to get the replacement, what a good bunch of people! Not Professional at all. I was told by their people that they would pay the return shipping and they would send out a good replacement but they decided it was not good business and screwed me over by not refunding the shipping and NOT sending a replacement battery, what a bunch of crooks.
