i'm looking lipo for my traxxas xl-5 esc. is this lipo save for my esc?

This lipo will be fine as your esc can handle a 2s lipo also the xl5 does come with a two stage low voltage dection designed for lipo usage. Will definatly work great just test temperatures

I'm looking for a connector to go from the battery pack bannana to either Tamiya or XT60 connector. I've looked through the various connectors and I can't tell which one to order. Can someone help me out?

I would go with a traxxas plug or deans plug. The Tamiya plugs can melt with Li-Poly.

deans are by far the best especially for off road they wont pop out and easy to solder up anyway

your car will move faster maybe change just upgrade
the tt01 a little bearings aluiminium drive shaft and make sure your esc is brushless ready

I've definitely noticed more punch in acceleration using these batteries in comparison to the similar 30c battery. My Team Associated TC3 sounds like a small jet whistling past.

I tested this in my TT-01E upgraded with ball bearings and alu drive shaft but with stock ESC (TEU 101bk)Metal motor mount and installed a low voltage beeper. Initial punch and run-time improved by a mile. I payed the same price for a NiMH back then as for this LiPo. You might lose a dog bone or two because of the speed and cornering. Upgrade to swing shafts.

mah from each just put dean conectors on great price for 24 dollars hobby shop would cost 100 each

Hi, I've tried these in my Traxxas Summit and they've provided good run time. You can run for nearly an hour in low gear when crawling and about twenty minutes in high gear, they fit well in the Summit battery compartments with some sponges.

This is a great battery and if your upgrading from nimh or nicad you will probs cry because of the inprovment difference :D

i got 18 of these batteries n still punching along especially when i use these with my 1/8 truggy finding it hard to keep the nose down coz of so much power. best battery for price and quality

Really nice design, 10 ga wire , still strong through 10 charges. Balanced out everytime. Great product will buy again.

Very good value for money, will be buying again. But although the rating says 7.4v, my charger says it outputs 8.5v, or 4.25v per cell. Whats up with that?
