i had a large crash the other day, and the battery came out of its holster hitting the ground, there is a small dent in all three cells on one edge but we checked the voltages coming from each cell and they seemed fine, is it safe to keep using it?
I would not use it if I were you. These batteries are cheap enough that you should properly dispose of and replace it. Otherwise, it could still cause a fire while charging or discharging. Its not worth risking your house!
Excellent battery! I have two of them that I use for airsoft. They fit in the stock of a KWA M16 and in the box mag of an A&K M60. The size is comparable or slightly smaller than a large type 9.6V airsoft battery, so it should fit in most any full stock, rear wired AEG rifle.
The discharge rate is enormous, producing extremely high rate of fire, so unless you are using a KWA or other upgraded rifle, you will destroy your airsoft gears. Stock Classic Army gears will shred almost instantly with this battery, so you need to know what you are doing when using something this extreme.
The wire is 12 gauge, but with a very good soldering iron, I can solder it to Deans connectors without trimming down the wire. For airsoft, buy the Hobby King T-connectors to solder onto it. They are also superb!
I highly recommend this battery!
