More than just a fancy name. According to the discussion under the international warehouse version of this battery, it will fit in the Traxxas 1/16th scale battery boxes.
Unmodified, you will only be able to latch one tab closed on the battery door, and must leave the other tab unlatched. With xacto knife / dremel modification, both tabs will latch closed.
At $10.34 each, I'm ordering 4 of these for my 1/16th scale Ken Block Gymkhana, to have 2 pairs I can run in parallel.
If they arrive quickly, and they work well, I will not use the overpriced (US$30ea!) 2S 25C Lipo I bought from my local hobby store for a refund.
Excellent Lipos. I am using these in my RS4 and my Mini LST. The nano-tech lipos are by far the best I have come across. Thanks hobbyking for another great deal and product.
Great battery for the price. No puffin or ballooning on charge. Came with all cells balanced at 65pcnt. Bought it for the Turnigy 1/18th scale Short Course truck and it loves this thing. It has huge run time, 15plus minutes full out, and charges very quickly. It Will not fit in stock battery pan horizontally. I just stand it up vertically. Great Battery!

Purchased four of these for my Mini Revo. I have one that was DOA, another that's puffed after 2 charges. One I haven't even opened the box on, and another that's working fine so far. So I can say that these are probably not up to the task of a 1/16 scale with a Brushless system. The price was amazing but I could have bought a better lipo considering 2 of the 4 are broke after less than 5 runs. I hope the other 2 will hold up. These lipo's should be able to push 77amps constant and 154 peak. My ESC is 80 amps the average amp draw on the 380 is around 8-9 amps with bursts of up to 70-75 on speed runs. These lipo's should not puff from a few laps up and down the street period.
