The combination of the light weight EPO airframe, a high power brushless motor and a simple aileron and elevator setup place these models amongst the most exhilarating park flyers to hit the market this year. This model comes plug and fly and only requires a few minutes of assembly time and flies like its on rails thanks to the one piece molding technique used in the construction. All you will require to have the BF109 in the air is a 3~4S 850mAh 20C Lipoly battery and your own transmitter and receiver (Tx/Rx)

You really think so? I think its the worst of the funfighters when it comes to scale looks, the tail section is WAY to big. Im not complaining, I know the ME-109 is difficult to make and that theese planes are all about fun, but I rather have one of the better scale looking ones, the Spitfire looks rather good. The paintscheme on the 109 is great though.

aww u ruined it for me i cant stop looking at the tail now but i do like the spitfire thats a good looking one.If i was gonna get one i would probly get the spitefire befor this one

I have the spitfire and it is a good looking plane in the air. Assembly was easy. It's fast on 3s lipos, I don't have any 4s batteries.I have the bf109 and the at6 as well and they are all a blast to fly. Great field and lunch hour flyer. The at6 tracks great but it's not as fast as some of the other fun fighters.

Version 2 of the BF-109 can only be gotten from Hobby King and it looks great! The plane comes with the wings molded to the fuselage and all you have to do is glue on the control horns to the horizontal stabilizers and hook them up to the servo; and then glue on the rudder and the stabs. That's it. Very easy build, took me 15 minutes with soldering on a Deans plug as well. Plane balances perfectly at the 50mm mark and flies great at this balance point. I've flown it on 3s and 4s. It's not as fast as my Spitfire from this series, but way easier to fly. TONS of power on both setups. ESC is barely warm after flights on 3s and 4s. VERY fun to fly, very easy to land. Launch is also easy, underhand toss at a 45 at half throttle while holding some up and away she goes. Be aware, the Hobby King version does NOT come with a battery. The plane is happy with up to 1300mh 3s, or 1000mh 4s packs.

Amazing quality and value for not a lot of money! Ordered mine on 1/8 from the US warehouse and was on my doorstep by 1/10!!! Assembly was done in 20 minutes including re-reading the directions as it seemed WAY too easy.

Quality on the newer version 2 planes is amazing: upgraded ESC, one piece fuse/wing, double beveled aileron hinges.

Out of the box performance is amazing with a 4s 850mah nano. 1000mah 4s fits just as well and weight barely affects flight performance. We had 4 of these doing "hot laps" today at the field and I couldn't have had more fun for under $100 if I wanted to!!!
