How does this plane differ from the Rainbow A-388 that I purchased last year from Hobby King?
Check out Youtube videos.
I am disappointed that the Rainbow A-388 forums are no longer available.

Do you have spare motor mounts for the Firenza?
 Kellyann 16240 points
Werner why NOT. It is a great idea. You can fit a mount to any plane. It is handy to have spares.

If I would like a motor for this airplane, near the high end of the performance envelope.... which motor and esc do you recommend? Which ever motor you recommend, Id like the esc to easily exceed the demands the motor could place on it. Thank you.

I bought the Turnigy D3542/6 1000KV Brushless Outrunner Motor with 50 amp ESC as highly recommended for the Multiplex Acromaster with 12x6 prop. It might be a good choice for this plane.

I just built my second one, The 1st one bit the dust when I lost a batter connection on my radio. I liked flying it so well I got another one. I use a 42 Turngy , 13/6 prop and 3000 ma 4 cell. Just keep it a bit nose heavy and it fly's like a dream. Not super fast but the roll's , inverted flight , it's like it's on rails. Reminds me of the old patten ships. Landing it likes a bit of power , just do not chop the throttle and try to glide it in. You will probably get a tip stall, just add a bit of power and it will settle right in. It's just a joy to fly. O Ya got my last one from the USA warehouse, about 5 or 6 days.
