That's not 100% right. More MAH more amps the battery can supply to the esc. This is where you want to makemsuremyou have enough batt for the esc/motor combination. Too little and batt will fail, too much and it's not as effeciant.
Actually Jack its you who is not 100% right, Amperage is defined by the c rating, the mAH is essentially the battery capacity or size and it can be as large as you would desire, but a higher mAH also equates to heavier weight.
Your close... MAH(c)=amp pack can produce.
5000(25)= 125 amps. This is how you match batts to system use. If you get a smaller MAH you'll get less amps.
2000(25)= 50 amps
Don't forget since its MAH you have to move the dec point.
Here is a cleaner list.

Anyone know the "actual" maximum battery area dimensions...if you ditch the factory hold down system in favor of a strap?? A lot of people mention using larger packs, but how big* I don't want to order packs that are all a few mm too large in one size or another.
My car came but when plugged everything, the esc keeps beeping loud and the motor just vibrates , extremely get hot, thought motor damaged so changed one but same problem, any idea or solution ... Thanks
Check your battery & motor connections. Also, are you using any other battery (recommended battery is a 2S 20C 1700MAh Lipo). If you use a higher rated battery, this might happen.
I just tried my Turnigy programming card. It does NOT work. The card does not even power on. To verify the Turnigy programming card, I then plugged it into a Turnigy Plush ESC with the result that my Turnigy programming card works perfectly. To then verify the truck ESC, I powered it up to find it works normally.
Does anyone have other suggestions?
The center drive nut for these trucks are 8mm I recommend the monster beatle rims they are a perfect fit. I use them on mine and makes big difference in the grass.
Hey guys what do you think of this car overall? Is it worth it, or should i wait and buy something diffrent? I am just lookin for a quick little car thats lots of fun.
I baught this truck it is very fast on 3s battery and pretty tough just watch the dog bones like to flyout i put shrink tubing over mine and they stayed in. this is good truck for price.
I have the trackstar 6100kv motor out of the combo in mine. had to modify the motor mount some. I will be trying to put the 2030mm 6200kv fin motor in soon. and the s2030 6570 motor as soon as it gets here. I have 3 of these and 1 truggy that has the same motor, I have lost one so far and one gets pretty hot easy then dose run until it cools off so I think it is going soon. hope this helps.
This car stock with a 2200 mah 2s battery is very fast clocked mine at 42. fast as my revo Very good buy and is pretty tough. Just make sher your spur gear is tight and lock tight the motor mount and your good to go.
PRODUCT ID: Z20002S-45C is what I use in mine, it is a zippy 2000mah 2s 45c battery. or the PRODUCT ID: T1300.2S.20A it is a 1300mah 2s 20c battery, I have run both of them,
Any idea when parts support is coming to the US? I need C brackets and front suspension arms & goods will be available within 30 days is already 20 days old
I seeing a strange issue with the car. It is my first R/C car.
I am using the HK3000 receiver and the HK310 radio. Whenever i want to go reverse, the trigger does not respond the first time. Only on the second time does the reverse respond. That does not happen with forward. Is this some kind of failsafe to prevent accidently going from forward to reverse??
Thanks!
Yes you are correct. Its a safe guard against accidently jamming the gears into reverse while moving forward and possibly doing damage to the transmission.
Even if you can I wouldn't. Its a feature on newer systems to protect your car If you need to go forward to reverse quickly just flick your finger twice in the reverse direction.

No, the Traxxas hex hubs will not work because the Traxxas axle is larger in diameter, so the hubs would be very loose and off center.
However, Hobby King via there Turnigy brand has just released a "Drift" tire and wheel package that includes 12mm hex hubs to fit the 1/16 axle cars. This has just opened the flood gates for upgrading wheels. :D
Just got my Kit today! this is my first HK car that I have owned I was looking for a RTR kit that required very little setup time, Kit comes complete with ESC,MOTOR,SERVO all that is required is the Radio/Rec and battery pack (the instruction dont show where to apply the decals I just looked online at the HK site to get a idea where they go) the time it took me to charge the battery I applied all the decals and setup the car, the HK radio I order was pre-bound with the rec so that was a no brainer. total build was like 40 minutes most of the time was just doing the decals. (this car is faster then I thought it was almost too fast ) a new driver might get out of control so watch out she looks small but has a get top speed! Way to go HK great little car!
Just received the truck today and went over it. It comes fully assembled, minus your own receiver you need to install. I found all the screws to be properly snug. The wheel nuts and wheels seemed loose so I snugged them up with the result that the wheels were now jammed and would not turn. So there is a sweet spot that needs to be found where the locknut is loose enough to let the wheels turn freely yet not have too much slop. There are two screws holding the front caster blocks and they also must be turned in only enough to allow the wheels to turn but not loose enough to have the screws fall out. I think this is going to be a trouble area. It is something that will need frequent inspection so that you do not lose a screw and have the steering and caster block fall out. The plastic parts seem good quality. The motor and esc functioned properly and the tires are pre-glued. Very easy to get his cute little truck ready for the track. For the money it is good value.

The extremely low price of this truck attracted me and i ordered this truck 1 month back. Received it 2 weeks back and am extremely dissapointed with it. Poorly packaged, arrived with body cracked & chipped. Build quality of this truck is downright poor. The third jump from the kerb to the road broke a tie-rod. And the kerb is 3-4" higher than the road in case you were wondering. Don't even think of off-roading this cheapie. The only pro-It is moderately fast and yes, cheap.
Not recommended and if you are on a tight budget for a 1/16 scale, head to Craigslist.

Bought this wrecked it smashing the front suspension arm and bending the plastic holder for the dogbone on the rear transmission, Got about 4 days out of it on try #1
Ordered replacement parts 3 weeks latter they arrived
Replaced transmission and suspension arm ON try #2 with in the coarse of a single afternoon the same place in the transmission was broken and the dogbone thrown free no major wrecks or problems so it must be due to design flaw. The plastic holders on the transmission that hold the dog bone in place are too weak to handle this motor at full blast and will inevitably bend and throw the dog bone on the right side rear transmission.
Will not buying anymore replacement parts for this after see how quickly it wears out due to being super cheap
My advice is if you buy this and have a programmable radio turn the throttle down to 75pcnt so it wont rip is self apart
