Well, I guess I'm pretty simple as I ordered this and now for the life of me cannot figure out how it works. Where does a servo connect? Or can it work with the rudder? What are the springs for? Anyone have a diagram of set-up?
The bracket with the tail wheel attached is fixed to the lower tail end of the fuselage and the "T" bracket is fixed to the bottom of the rudder an d then the springs connect between the rudder bracket and the T bracket on top of the wheel so that when the rudder turns spring tension will turn the tail wheel unit.
The springs allow the tail wheel to move about due to the rough surface of the runway and do not transmit any loads back onto the servo.
