I can see that axle is scratched that's probably why it leaks through the scratch groove.

Hey mate - it depends on what you want to do! If you're just bashing around go for the trackstar oil around 500 - 700. If you're racing you might want to stiffen up your shocks a bit to reduce roll, I'd still stick with the 700 oil for these small shocks

hello ans i have a few of these from trinity that had these trucks ans shocks first and i have found 30wt shock oil to work best all around would not go over 40wt or 45wt oil as to thick and always rember to leave a very small gap from the top of the shock body as the shocks will not work rite and get to hard and stiff at the very top hope this help

These are way too small, they're for 1/18 scale cars, check the spareparts section for the 1/10 Trooper or the 1/10 2WD Buggy for shocks for the Slash.

HobbyKing do sell some oils you can use, just remember not to over fill them and try to make them have the same rebound...
