Amigo ele pode ser ligado direto no receptor, voce pode usar um Y para ligar até dois conjuntos, só nao vah exagerar, antes verifique qual eh a carga maxima suportada pelo seu receptor porque a voltagem dele eh de 5volts.

5v is the standard voltage. You can run them lower than that but if you are going to use them with 6s you´ll need a 5v ubec

I managed to run them off 6v from 6v ubec.

6V would be perfectly OK but 9, 12 or higher would be out of the question unless the resistors are changed or added to so the current flow is maintained at approx 20mA. More mAs will make the LED glow more brightly but shorten the life of the LED. Lower voltage is OK but will glow dimmer as the voltage goes down. The LED requires a forwarding voltage (Vf)of approx 3V so it will not operate at all at or below the LEDs Vf. Hope that helps.

But a usbec for 5 volts. There are some really cheap and the you can buy any battery without worring for voltage

Yes, you can also connect the ch output to a Y harness and connect the light to one end leaving the other end for normal ch control, you are just powering both items in parallel. That way you won't lose one channel. The light does not use signal pin.
