Turnigy 4000mAh Spektrum Compatible DX9 DX8 DX7S Intelligent Transmitter Pack

Turnigy 4000mAh Spektrum Compatible DX9 DX8 DX7S Intelligent Transmitter Pack

Upgrade your Spektrum DX9, DX8 and DX7S radio with a Turnigy Intelligent Transmitter Pack. You'll spend less time charging and more time flying because unlike NiMh, Lipoly batteries hold their change for extended periods so they're always ready to go

Lithium polymer batteries last much longer than NiMH packs as they have a far greater energy density. The Turnigy DX Series Intelligent Transmitter Pack also features a built in voltage protection circuit, this circuit will automatically cutoff once the pack drops to 2.95v per cell ensuring the battery will not be damaged if you accidentally leave your transmitter switched on. The voltage protection circuit will also restrict charging to 4.2v per cell ensuring the pack can never be over charged.

Peace of mind charging, extended run times and Lipoly convenience like never before, Upgrade your DX8 transmitter with Intelligent Lipoly technology today!

Does HK have a charge lead for this battery? Thanks, Vince
 Maximus 57 points
This battery does not need a special battery charger. simply connect the standard charger to the transmitter and all. Electronics inside the battery itself disconnects it when the battery is fully charged.

I have a small white plug on my 4000ma 7.4v 2C that I can't identify or match. I have 3 chargers but none has that plug. Any suggestions. Thanks.

sounds like a dead cel(bad lead to cell)l. does your charger recognize it as a 2 cell battery? my charger i have to enter values like: 1.8 or 0.4. Try 400 in yours.

Yes the charger is set on 2 cell (7.4) it check the battery and start to charge then it errors out
 SpeedfreakNZ 24 points
Just charge it in the radio with the standard Spectrum charger, that's why the battery is has the inbuilt "intelligent" feature.

I tried to answer this question before with an answer similar to just using the Spektrum radio's charger, but for what ever reason it got deleted,at least you now have a few answers to choose from,oh and if the battery was faulty you could of just filled out an RMA form once signed into your account and click on said order.

Does any one know how to put a balance plug on the Turnigy 4000mAh battery ?
 JeffBr 434 points
You Will neer to remove the srink foil and solder the balance leads to some lipo ends according a sequence... And of course use new shrink foil. Best is to open up an old (dead) 2S Lipo and follow that sequence.. Hope to have helped. Cheers, JeffBr.

I had to take the foam out of the back of the battery compartment to make it fit. Charging for first time now.

awesome battery.Just charged it at 1.5 amps and took an hour on my turnigy 8150 charger.battery came off at 8.2 volts.when you turn your radio on go to system settings and switch the battery power from nimh to lipo and the radio will adjust the low voltage alarm.HK hit it out of the park with this one,50 dollar savings over spektums battery.

Super produit, et beaucoup, beaucoup moins cher que spektrum qui abuse un peu sur le prix d'un simple lipo 2s. Plus besoin de recharger tous les 4 jours. En passant la radio en mode lipo, la charge se coupe toute seule. Parfait ! Great product, and much, much cheaper than Spektrum abusing a little on the price of a single 2s lipo. No need to recharge every four days. By the way radio lipo mode, charging turns off by itself. Perfect!
