Charge SIX (2~6S) lipo packs with same capacity & cell count simultaneously with this parallel charging board. That means you can charge 6 3S 2200mAh or more at the same time with a standard charger!
Spec. Cell: 2~6S Voltage: 0~22.2VDC Max current: 30A Battery: 6 packs same capacity & cell count Connector: EC3/jst-xh
E flight- I just got the para bored for the 1S lipos but i also have a 450x that will use the EC3 on this bored but i also have a 130X that has the 2S lipos do they just plug right into the balance port, as they only have the 1 lead and if i charged SIX 2S 7.4V 200mAh at 3C would i set my charger up to charge a 2S 7.4V 1200mAh pack at 3Amps?
how would you charge 2 2200mah 3s batteries or 2 2600mah 4s batteries? would you charge them at 4.4 amps for the 3s and the same would go for the 4s batteries 5.2?
1 last question, can i make a jst adapter to go to the EC3 connector? or would that not be a good idea, the batteries i would like to charge are the rhino 2s 360 mah and they have the red jst connector and the white balance charge connector, thanks for any replies
this board works great, charged my 3s 2200mah batteries to .1 percent difference between cells , my question is how does it know when to go to the next cell and not overcharge the batteries? great product by the way, oh and the other thing is when i try to charge at 4.4amp on 2 3s 2200 batteries it kicks out my 5amp charger ? and the voltage drops to 11.06v ? is my charger to weak? it is the v6AC charger
Hi all
tell me, into which port would i plug the blancing lead to? total newbi why i ask is because my lipos blance lead plugs into the 3s socket on my icharger 106b and on this product it looks way bigger???
thanks
What about the large internal current flow between miss-matched but identical packs and will this defeat the automatic cell balance feature of my modern multi-cell LiPo charger?
Regardless if you one pack is fully charged and the rest are dead you have to remember its running in parallel. Since each EC3 has its own blance port the voltage is constant but will bypass all fully charged cells. This is where each lipos balance plug comes in play. It would take a couple pages to explain it, but In my case I charge 6 3s 2200 40c/80c lipos and 6 4s 2650 40c/80c lipos at the same time, well one or the other. Its crazy but when I charge this way with my Passport charger my packs balance better and charge at 4.22v per cell. when done one at a time I get 4.19 or 4.20 per cell and sometimes a unbalanced pack. The only VERY important thing to keep in mind is to make sure each lipo is connected to the correct balance port, it can be easy to mix one and that would be bad. But rest assured I have 45 packs and charge all with this and my lipos are still in perfect condition and have never heated during charge, nor has my charger. Luthr if you would like to see a better example subscribe to my YouTube page and I will make a video for ya if it will help. search vizzuleyes on YouTube untill you see one of my vids then click my name and send a message. I hope this helped. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
It makes absolutely no difference as to what balance taps you plug into, there is no "correct" one as all the balance taps are wired in parallel. So are the EC3 plugs as a matter of fact. You can use ANY EC3 with ANY balance plug anywhere on the board, it makes no difference.
Well you have been lucky not to damage your lipos. Just search YouTube for this and see what happens if it is connected wrong. I'll believe the numerous videos over one persons comment. But do what you will lipos are cheap here.lol.
Well yes, if you have a 3S lipo then you should only use the balance taps with 4 pins, and certainly do not try to plug the balance tap in upside down, but other than that it really does not make a difference. The board has no logic built in to it, as I mentioned before everything is wired in PARALLEL. I've taken the board apart to see what makes it tick, and there is nothing special in there. If it actually made a difference, there would be clear markings on the board as to which taps belonged to which EC3 sets, but that is not the case.
ahhh, was wondering which balance plug corresponded with which ec3 plug as there are no definitive markings, just an arrow pointing down one side and up the other side but no correlation between the plugs. Am happy to hear it doesnt matter which one goes where! Handy to be able to charge multiple batteries at once but it doesnt make it any quicker!!! 220min to balance 4x 2200mah 3s at 1c, may of saved myself 2 minutes total not having to plug/unplug batteries
swervyn, you need a better charger! I charge 2 2200mah 3s at 20A on my Icharger 206B in about 25-30 max. I always charge at higher than 1C and I never had a problem in several hundred cycles.
My charger will only charge at 7.0A MAX (Venom pro charger plus) which when I bought it seemed like pretty good specs! Next time might try to charge the 4 batteries on fast charge at 3C and see how the time goes. (instead of balance charge at 1C) cheers
Purchased 3 of these and all the soldering was done very nicely. I charged 6 batterys totalling 30 amps and this adapter handled the current, and all 6 batterys were balanced very well.
Dufam,ze tento vyrobok plne uspokoji moje potreby a ze ma vobec nikdy nesklame.Myslim,ze cena je primeraná a aj kvalita je myslim viac ako dobra.erererer
