Turnigy nano-tech 160mah 1S 25C Lipo Pack (Nine Eagles style - T1 Single Rail for 2010+)
More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery. For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!
Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!
* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. 1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly. Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries; -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
I bought it for that airplane, I had to sand the housing a little to get it to fit comfortably. It was really tight before. If you dont mind a little sanding this is a great battery for the price.
These batteries seem to last no more than 3 mins in my NE Spitfire. They also lack power if compared to the stock battery.
Does anyone have the same problem? I've got 9 of them and they all seem to show the same lack of power and short flight time.
Yes you are right.. With the time the power comes down... but if you take care with charging and discharging.... their life extent... just charge full and don't unplug till charge is full. And during flight, do not let it discharge fully.. The moment you feel the heli losing its power, just change the battery. This help a lot to extend the life of battery.
It will fit if your old batterie only have 1 rail or "lip".
Just kame sure you buy some because you will love the power. But i have experienced that the black top will come of after maybee 10-15 flights, they not very good glued into place but it is easy fixed with melting glue :)
Thanks for the answer SrRichard. I already got them for my solo pro, and i was thinking to buy a bravo sx. They are indeed great batteries, much better than the original.
were can u get a multicharger for the Turnigy nano-tech 160mah 1S 25C Lipo Pack (Nine Eagles style - T1 Single Rail for 2010 ) or parts to mack one thanks
Right here on HK! Check out item# NE4210908. I have one (although mine is the AU plug version) and it seems to work really well. Much faster than charging via transmitter, and charging 2 at a time is great. Seb.
If you have the same kind with 1 plastic rail on the back then yes you should be able to use it.
If your old battery have 2 rails then you have to search on this product code instead: N130.1S.25V2
hey man this Single Rail the one your looking for is the Turnigy nano-tech 160mah 1S 25~40C Lipo Pack it last alot longer that the parkzone batterys hope this helped you ... aaron2233
Mark, these are for Nine Eagles products. You want the ones that are for Eflite, so as aaron said the Turnigy nano-tech 160mah 1S 25~40C Lipo Pack or same in 130, or Turnigy 160mAh 1S 30C. All 3 will fit your champ perfectly.
Is there an adapter for charging nine eagles type connector for several batteries at the same time, like the one sold here for the e-flite type connector?
Yeah. I just oerdered heaps of the other batteries. I got some of the other 160mah Nanotechs and was goingt o solder on a different connector to my Solo Pro. Looks like i don't need to now. Thanks HK.
1) Measured discharge capacity is about 155-164 mAh
2) Three of four puffed out after a week of usage in Solo Pro V2
3) They fit Solo Pro V2, but for smooth insertion they need a little bit of sandpaper
Better then original Solo Pro battery... Recomended and fit very well

decent batt, had an interesting problem. the batt connector was a bit bigger than the connector in the plane (nine eagles yak) so its a bit difficult to plug it in, other than that its fine and the price is untouchable
Tengo agotadas las mi Solo Pro V2 de tanto usarlas, esto dara nueva vida a mi pequeñin, estas son de 160mAh. hay otras de 130 y la verdad no se nota demasiado.
