I've bought 3 of these servos, all of them jitter and there is this strange noise coming out from them all the time. wanted to use for tilt on FPV, useless. And it's a 150 degrees servo, not 180...
Don't worry about the slight noise you get from this servo as you will find a lot of Digital servos will do this,it's just the way some of them are, they all still work just fine.
Servo is not worth getting for FPV, they are very low resolution and don't get anywhere near 180 degree. They also jitter without load, tried on several brands of RX and 2 different servos, all have the same result.
Definitely not a 180 degree servo as stated before more like 150 to 160 degrees. Really annoying to have to wait two weeks for it to turn up after ordering it from the UK warehouse. When queried I was told it was not available from the UK so came from HK.
Can i Make it do more than 160 or 180 . can you change inside servo ,some how i heard its possible to change inside servo .the switch, ! pulling it apart and doing somthing to the inturnal switch,
yes My mate , quite a Definate fact , thank you for varifying that , And you know , they are not very strong . after the last one ripped in 2 bits at the very top . leaving the gear exposed . but the pan tilt i use with this now in tilt and a stronger large on the Pan , the idear is custom 2 ontop of each other i found can work also . but didital is a must .isnt it .
rctoyfinder HK already offer 3 different 360 degree servo's how many would you like VSD-10Y 360 Degree Servo 12kg / 0.75sec / 64g Sail Winch Servo 13kg / 0.7sec (360deg) / 55g
I have always used the Hitec HS55 but that's only a 180 Degree servo but i'm more than sure you could mod it with a servo stretcher ?? i'v never come across an off the shelf 360 servo who knows there may be one out there i shall have a google and report back lol
Ordered 2 of these servo's for panning a pan&tilt.
The servo is a digital one, but the resolution is not to good, leaves somewhat to be desired. Sometimes they start to stutter even in dead center with the servo tester from HK. They are Ok I guess, but I expected better centering for the money. Not recommended when using goggles, you will become seasick, better be using a servo stretcher.
