Is this ESC require programing ? Will it work with 2200Mah brushless motor???
John J.  2 points - 4/5/2013

any way to reprogram the BEC to give power because i'm not the only one who didn't notice nil power for the bec

Will this work with the 4300kv Outrunner 64mm motor for EDF?
 zedooo 171 points
Yes it will, but I reccomend a 50 or 60A ESC, just to be sure. And take a BEC one, except if you want to have two separate circuits...

Will this come with the bullet connectors pre attached?
 TaterTotDW 197 points
Unfortunately, it won't but the 10 pairs of 3.5mm bullet connectors are very cheap on the website.

why not?

Can someone explain me these progamming options: "Throttle Setting: Auto/Hard/Soft Brake: No Brake/Soft/Medium/Hard Cut off: Soft/Hard Timing: 1º*/7º*/15º*/30º*"
 zedooo 171 points
Throttle Setting: that's the starting mode. Hard is powering on the motor as soon as you give the throttle, soft is like soft idle up on helis. Brake: electric brake to stop the prop and motor from spinning when you are on zero throttle. Very good for soaring, I reccomend this ON at all times. Cut off: when the voltage drops (battery near empty) you can have soft or hard cutoff. Soft means that you can still get little power from the motor so you can "go home", the servos will always work. The timing depends on your motor.

What battery connection does this esc come with
 Christopher 23 points
None, you have to solder one yourself.

(Tongue in cheek ...) As a park fly & indoor model - what are the best fuselage, wing and empennage design to make this model fly correctly? What is the recommended CG?
 Kellyann 16226 points
majik01 I know you said TONGUE IN CHEEK but this a ESC. Sorry

Read the first part of the question - this item was misposted in the "park fly & indoor model" before they fixed the database to the ESC section - hence my question. So as an "indoor model" - how do I make this fly ? and yes I can read it is an ESC.
 Kellyann 16226 points
majik01 COOL and thank. That is funny. I would liked to see that. I guess it is a Birdie. Have a nice day.

i hope this one is much better than the other turnigy esc
 Wilhelm 255 points
You can't compare a supercheap ESC with a brand. Turnigy plush can't be compared to Super Brains or whatever. They are different. Buy a Super Brain, if you want a Turnigy ESC that is of a higher class. Works great. These ones are for the super cheap applications.

what do they mean by OPTO?
 Wilhelm 255 points
That there is no BEC. The receiver circuit and the high-amp circuit are optically connected, not electrically. So it should made interferences less often if you have problems with them. But you will need an UBEC to power your servos and receiver!

OPTO = No bec
 Sergio 11 points
também funciona na perfeiçao ,mas precisa também de ubec
 ViorelX 30 points
OPTO doesn't mean whithout BEC. There are OPTO ESCs with BEC, as well as non OPTO ESCs whitout BEC. I suspect this ESC is not an OPTO one, although it hasn't BEC. I didn't notice any optocupler on its board. The ESC signal from the receiver is conducted to an input of the MCU whose outputs drive 3 MOSFET drivers IR2101. This is a very efficient driving circuit, that enhances ESC performance.

Do you think that for the price this ESC wil do his job with a 5v/5A UBEC?

Hi guys. what battery connection does this esc come with?

None, you have to solder one yourself.

WARNING! I wonder if this ESC can really be used up to 6s. It is made up with NTD80N02G MOSFETs, which are 24V rated, therefore the rating of the ESC should be of only 12V. I will use it only for 2s. Otherwise, it is a powerfull ESC, handling 40-50A as stated, with smooth throttle control.
