I do not think it would work for Gas, it is designed for nitro.
Gas would damage it after a short while.

Actually these are designed for gas, its pretty rare to need a primer bulb on a nitro engine, I use many of these on my gas carbs that do not have primer bulbs, and have never had an issue

Bought 5 of these, all useless. first one leaked everywhere. then I was having tuning issues with the second one, only to find that I was getting lean top end due to fuel restriction. Luckily it was letting so little fuel through that it stalled at wide open throttle, so no damage due to lean running. Remove filter, tuning fixed
