Any chance of stock electrics handling 4S?
 buellman75 1 points
Not on this edf, esc is not big enough and I don't think you'd fit the 4s in the fuselage

Does anyone know what battery connector this comes with as standard?
 buellman75 1 points
It comes without connectors so you can choose and solder your own personal preference on.

Hi there, is this little bird good for newbies?
 H-KING_SCOTT 5156 points
No, small EDF's are for experienced pilots.

V how much of a Newbie are you??? It is great for a NEWBIE if you leave it in the box, learn to fly then pull her out. This can be you carrot to get you to learn to fly. I hope this helps.

Hopless lasted 90 seconds,on impact the impeller lossed all blades. You would think a stronger plastic could have been usedin the impeller, works out at a dollar a second before it needs repair.

Hi so I got this plane not long ago, not hard to put together i used 5 min epoxy but you need to do a few things to get it flying. One wing was bent bad still cant fix and the edf fan was hitting on the housing need some work to get right make sure you check all the nuts and screws. Then need to cut the canopy alot to make li-po fit i have used 800mha and 1300mha 3s but i think 1000mha 3s would be best.

Fly day now to start make sure you got a friend to help hand lunch it will have to be hard and straight or it will not fly. When flying you need to push it in to the turns hard or it will not go anywhere and when landing comes down really fast and the power goes fast so time the first one mine has had two hard landings the intake was a bit damged but 5 min epoxy fixed it.
So not bad for the price but would say advanced flyers only and make sure you have lots of room, it's very fast.
thank you

Hello Customer Service The F-8 was easy to build and get ready to fly. Flying was a big disappointment. The motor setup is not sufficent to power the plane adequatly. Worse than that, the eleveron servo broke on the maidenflight. The red wire to the servomotor came of the servo-controler. This is the fourth time a servo in a mini-edf-jet from hobbyking broke like this in our fling club. After the repair of the servo of this I tried a second flight. This time the screws that are holding wings got loose by the vibration of the motor/fan. This time the plane stalled immediately. No way to recover. The plane was broken completely. Regarding these issues I am very disappointed about the plane. May you please consider if you could send a replacemet for the crashed plane Regards Peter

flys ok stock!! 1000mah you have to " glue the motor hatch" in to keep the fuse from flexing and your thrust angle changing...i put mine through a couple of tight turns and it started stalling itself.. hangs from its wings like a trainer , rolls fast , doesnt like inverted. lands easy ......I wedged in a Haoye (wemo eater} 7blade 51mm fan,, balanced!! ,,4300kv hk outrunner {never use an inrunner} 1000mah 35c zipp...wow much faster quieter sounds better more thrust now i like it...GLUE THE HATCH IN !!!!! Happy flying
