The bigger question is why does HK use 8 AGW wire on any of these batteries, totally unnecessary and a pain in the A$$ to deal with. For the kinda of AMPS these thing can produce 10 AGW is fine. I think they do to make people think the battery is capable of high discharge rates.
Great powerful pack use 2 of these on large Multicopters for lifting heavy loads such as Red Epic, 5D, BMCC and other heavy cameras.

I bought eight of these batteries from Hobby King. I obsessively monitored them, charged them at .5C, discharged them at 2C, and never abused them. Four of them are already puffed like blowfish. I have used them maybe 10 times, now they are going to be recycled. I very much regret buying these.
