?
If not, what do you suggest?
What props should I use with this? Is 1045 ok?
According to the calculation: Volt x Amps, it is a 335W motor (11V x 30A ~ 335W)
But that is on Full Load, which is not recommended.. You will mostly use between 50-85% of Full Load :) so I will suggest you to calculate with 85% of the calculated power :)
Well im just Excited to receive this motor, I am using it to replace the terrible Super Tigre system my flyzone switch has. It was my first plane and since I bought it I have replaced the servos, burnt up two motors so i am replacing with this, and i had to install hinges on every control surface. the only thing stock is the servo extensions...
i am sitting in the same spot as you how does this motor perform in the switch to the .10 super tiger motor as i have just burned my motor i am looking for something better that the super tiger?
impulso e o peso do aviao, e o que o motor vai puxar para cima, ex um motor com empulxo de 900 gramas ele vai suvbir na vertical se vc colocar em um aviao de 500 gramas entendeu, abraç*os
You are asking the wrong question. Thrust (on any motor)will vary depending on the size of prop you select. The information you really need is how many watts will it produce. 25 watts-per-pound - airplane is typically hand-launched and won't do much more than just fly around 50 watts-per-pound - airplane is hand-launched, would ROG off of hard surfaces, and perform mild aerobatics 75 watts-per-pound - airplane would ROG off of a grass field, climb well, and perform nice aerobatics 100 wa
250 Watts is roughly one third of a so called "horse power" (736 Watts): it is also the power delivered by a standard .20 to .25 two strokes running a "normal" propeller around 10.000 rpm (...on the ground that gives /- 11.500 rpm in flight). So you can consider it's "equivalent" ... but from a conservative point of view, I prefer consider that "power" at 80 % (200watts) (instead of the 250 watts for taking of at full throttle).

I have two of these motors now, the first I installed on a piper cub with a 47" wing span, and this motor performs flawlessly, super power, and watt metered in according to specs, I used the recommended prop and lipo battery, this is a super motor!

This is a quality motor for sure, I liked the first one so much, I bought a second one, stick with the 3cell lipo, a Turnigy 30 amp ESC and use a 9X6 prop, you will be impressed as I was.

great motor for the price , put it on a 56 inch wing span custom built trainer, using 3 cell lipo 9-6 prop 10-15 minute flight times.
Nice quality motor and runs very smoothly and runs cool. Purchased this for upgrade motor in my Phoenix 2000 glider. With 10x6 folding prop pulls about 220W.
