PowerBox SparkSwitch - Kill-Switch and Regulator Unit
The SparkSwitch is a reliable high-performance ignition switch. The entire design of the SparkSwitch has deliberately been kept simple, whilst retaining all the important functions. The ignition switch is ready for use as supplied, and requires no set-up procedure. All you have to do is set up your radio control transmitter for use with the switch.

PowerBox SparkSwitch - Kill-Switch and Regulator Unit, un interruptor electró*nico que sirve para encender y apagar la corriente a otros componentes elé*ctricos, como pueden ser encendidos de motores de gasolina o bengalas de humo. A diferencia de otros productos parecidos, su funcionamiento no podrí*a ser má*s sencillo. Se conecta a un canal libre del receptor que vaya con una tecla desde -100% hasta 100%. En una de las posiciones deja pasar la corriente y en la otra no. Se puede alimentar el encendido del motor desde la misma centralita, o tambié*n con una baterí*a independiente. En el caso de usar una baterí*a independiente, tambié*n regula la tensió*n a 5,9v por lo que podremos usar lipos sin problemas.
Debido a su sencilla programació*n, su instalació*n tambié*n es muy sencilla, solo habiendo que realizar 4 conexiones:
-Entrada de señ*al desde el receptor (para recibir las ordenes de encendido o apagado)
-Entrada de corriente (o desde la centralita o desde la baterí*a)
-Salida de corriente (regulado a 5,9v para encendidos de motores de gasolina o parecidos)
-Salida de LED (para conocer el estado –* LED encendido la corriente está* activada)
These work great, connect any battery up to 2 cell lipo and you get 5.9 Volts out to your ignition module plus you can remotely switch on/off. But will HK honor the 36 month guarantee from Powerbox.
mine made my motor stutter like crazy and then when i contacted duralite they said they never sold any to hobby king so i should contact them! well hobby king what say you?????
Absolutly great kill switch. Very durable and very litle size. Minimum weight and you don't need any more switch with this device it shuts off automaticly after switching off the reciver. To switch the ignition on you have to put the switch in A-B-A position and to switch it of is the same. It prevents from accidantyly shuting down the engine and you can use the momentary switch in futaba radios for kiling the engine. Bought 3 for my models and will buy more. Mirek Poland

well it seems as though my review needs an update .My sparkswitch has been making the dle 30 run poorly and after attempting to tune the motor for quite some time i decided to run the ignition battery direct and see if there was a change ......... the motor stopped stuttering an ran perfect. so i guess mine was faulty and i contacted the manufactuer only to get back that they did not sell any of them to hobby king?

Had mine for 3 days before it failed, luckily it was not in flight. I sent it back to the manufacturer for repair/replacement but have not heard anything from them in over a month.

Seems to work well I guess I thought it was an IBEC (maybe I should have read closer). It really is no more than an expensive opti kill switch with a regulator and, with many of the newer ignitions out there, not sure how important regulation is. IBEC's are out there at a better deal.
