Are any of these XK3674 motors with OPEN endbells?
I swear I saw one at my field, in a fan, which looked like this one (or the XK3665), dark silver gray metal color, with OPEN endbells.
i take the two end bells off and drill 4 holes in each end bell very easy to do and really helps temps, and answer to you question no none of the xk motors seem to have open end bells. hobby king arent really selling many motors with open end bells anymore
it will work on 5s as well i have bigger version 2000kv rated only for 4s and i was running 5s and is sweet motor watch temps on motor and esc make sure u not cook it
cheers
Hi, Can i run this motor on 6S? Because it says that it can run max 14.8V but then you have only 28000 rpm. And i Think this motor is similar to the leopard LBP3674/3.5D. And this motor holds up too max 31V.
i would say 5s max as this motors are not clone of leopard motors i would go 20v max on this engine got one 40mm series and i was running 5s with temp on the high side motor was 2000kv
cheers
6s and APC thin e 6x5,5 in funjet ultra, gps datalogger shows 294km/h.

Decent motor for the price.
Installed in a Freewing 90mm EDF this runs well with no balancing. The motor is slightly too large to fit shroud so some sanding of shroud and filing down of the motor was needed to fit. I also added two 36mm heat sinks glued on with JB weld. Had to add locktite on the 3 retaining screws as they had none. Using a Zippy 6S 30C 5800mah battery draw settles to about 75A and 1600watts. Thrust settles to about 2.2kg in the plane (Starmax F-16 and F/A-18). I expected more output as it is listed as 1900kv. I have other 1750kv and 1800kv motors (freewing outrunner and Turnigy B36-56 1800kv) that produce roughly the same numbers. Perhaps the Kv is closer to 1800kv.

. I set it to 1/8 off-road vehicle, and it works fine, the car like a bullet flies, the engine is not heated using a 3s 5000 mh battery now ordered 4c as a check will be. 3 screws on the back cover should be put on Lockley
very good engine, I am pleased with them. recommend.
let's see how it would work on the 4s

I'm running this motor on 4S 5000mAh in my 31,5" Arowana and the boat runs on rails with a 42mm Tenshock metal twobladed prop.
The motor runs very cool and I get over 7 minutes of runtime at full throttle.
Very good motor for the Mono 2 Class.
Having a 3674 motor with a Kv between the 1900 and 2200 would be nice too (2050Kv?).
Regards, Jan.

I mounted this motor in a 32" Godspeed-U catamaran using 2 x 2700mah zippy compact 4s, 35-45c. With a 44mm prop I saw 100amps and 1400 watts. This is probably on the outer limits for this motor but it came in cool as did the 120amp esc . I will be changing to a smaller prop [ around 40 -42mm] to reduce the amps draw.
Great motor and some say this a Leopard motor by another name.
I don't know for sure but it runs powerful and smooth.
Got these motor early March 2013 and bought the 3674 2200kv too. Both comes out of the box as it is with 4mm connectors preinstalled. Put these motor on my 31" Arowana running on 4S with 180A esc 43mm prop with decent speed. But the 2200kv motor is more powerful compared with these 1900kv with the same set up. Great motor anyway with great price from hobbyking here.
