Going in a 21" van lines hydro. Getting an X632, should I get a 432 or 435? I'm concerned it won't spin the 435.

can you use this in the centurion speed boat with what would need changing to be usable and what battery would i need
 robi38 26 points
This motor is way too powerfull for this boat ! Try a 28-50 (with approx 4500~5000 kv), it's enough. Take a 2s battery pack (1600~2200 mAh Turnigy nano-tech 35C ) with Turnigy Marine 60A ESC, 32 mm metal propeller (for 3 mm shaft), a coupling with the same diameter that your centurion drive system in the flex drive side and 3 mm for the motor side (because i think that the original motor of your boat has a 2mm shaft...) if you take a motor with 3 mm shaft, like the Turnigy of Hobbyking *)

Anyone tried this motor for 70mm EDF? The rated amp seems it can handle more than 4s... Would give quite some performance if it can handle over 80amp in 70mm EDF..
