please can someone really tell me can we use it for gas?there are lots of comments but there is no consensus or common idea for using it gas...or could nt I read or miss it it anywhere??
Sorry about that to resume the previous post its is very stiff to try to flex over a clevis if that is what you are trying to accomplishl it would probably tear easily.
Is this really Silicon tube? It looks too shiny to me. I bought so called Silicon tube with the same dimension from R2 hobbies and that was just simple PVC plastic tube. HK has been wrong many times before, so this time too?
I will not call it Silicon tubing, It is PVC with some Silicon in it. There are many types of Silicon tubing and all of them have a small or big content of silicon. This is a pity because one never knows if it is good enough, until you have it in your hand. The manufacturer making your yellow/blue tube says it is Silicon, and he is not lying, but not telling the truth either. He should say 5% Silicon (or whatever it is). I have also bought a so called Silicon tubing (yellow) from R2Hobbies, and that one is no good either, slightly stiffer than Hobby King. Maybe that manufacturer has 5% Silicon in the tubing.
Looks very similar to gas type tubing,nice large diameter to let fuel thru.

Dispite some the comments it was still a bargin got 2 meters just for spares in my cars n planes, got this coz all other ones were outta stock but still never the less a great product at great price cheaper than locals stores. def get more in future

i'm not so happy with it.
it can't stand the heat of the muffler nipple , and so it melts easily
