Very nicely made and covered, this Hobbyking Yak 54 Profile is a brilliant 3D performer and just so much fun to fly. A fast, low cost build is the order of the day and the combination of an ultra thick, large wing, very low flying weight and huge control surfaces offers the 3D pilot a model that can take everything thrown at it!
very good plane but did not purchase it and gave cg'm having to move your entire front and try to find the cg already been 4 days since I adjusted it and still this hard
the main wing i mean the wingspan are moveing with servo or its stay in the orginal position all time?
and the tail move too? its seems like the parent to stay in the same postion all time...
im ask u to know thanks
I think the question is weather or not the wing and tail section are removable. If this is truly a clone of the one I had the wing and tail are removable with the servos still attached. Just remove the push rods
Looks exactly like my Hyperion Yak with one exeption, this one seem to have tailmounted servos. My Hyperion flew great with a BIG (2836) motor up front as its quite tailheavy, I discovered that when I tried a smaller and lighter motor.
The Hyperion one wasn't tailheavy at all. It was 3d-capable and extremely responsive. I flew three different ones, two with the extremely lightweight recommended motor from Hyperion, can't remember the model, but it was 40-50 grams, a 10 amp ESC, a 3s 750 mah battery out on the nose, near the gear mount. The third one I flew with a hacker 20-20 motor, 20 amp esc, and 1000 mah pack on the nose. I preferred the lighter setup, with less nose weight. But tailheavy? Naaah, just extremely responsive.
This HK one though, I would think it might be tailheavy with servos mounted back in the tail. I wonder if there are wing cutouts for them like the Hyperion/Common Sense/ExtremeFlight versions?

It`s pretty good plane,it`s so good fly,but i don`t recommend this plane for beginners: in first crash i broke front, and in second - tail. This plane has too weak front, tail, and also all fuselage for 3D flying. But it`s so good covered, assembled and pretty cheap.4 stars.

Just received this plane. Quality is very cood. Covering - perfect, no bubbles, wrinkles. Came in different color sheme than on fotos. Wing is very solid but fuse a little bit weak. True dry wight is 279 gramm!!! with all parts and finding. Instruction recommend 300 class motor, but i think is not enough for 3D. Servo bay size for all servos 22*12mm.

me llego mi avion completo, buena calidad, al volarlo y usar el centro de gravedad recomendado qued un poco pesado de cola, pero aun asi volo de maravilla, el 3d se hace casi solo con este avion, buena compra .
