Wrapped in bubble wrap and in flawless box with no sign of damage? I don't think so. BTW, how much does HK pay it's "pro" contributors? I've seen that little pop-up offering to pay for posts like yours.
If box comes in good shape... then you right... In any case, you may try to contact support (link at top left corner of page) and provide photos of defect product and original package. (with ordernumber and complete info).. In jbvious faulty cases HK support, provide replacement even without need to return defective product. (If you are lucky enough)
As for "pay"... heh... Points are for anyone... you need not to be pro contributor... just answer questions and if your reply is awarded as best answer you will get 10cents or so as bonus points for your next purchaise.. Not much if you will take in account that not all who ask questions take care to press "Award best answer" button and there are a lot of other contributors. Try yourself *-)
Agghhh.. You didn't mentioned you already contact support right way. Some, people trying to contact support here in discussions threads thinking it's right place.. Wish you good luck and soon replacement of defective part.
Thank you for providing the photo installation instructions! The only difficult part was removing the original foam pad to replace with the new thinner foam pad; The adheasive on the pad was very strong. All I can recommend is peal it back carefully without putting too much pressure on the board. The LED panel fit in place perfectly. Make sure the connector wire bunches are gently pushed back out of the way as the board is reinstalled. The white light is a big improvement for viewing the display screen. I'm pleased!
havent installeddd it yet but i bet it works great

A cheap and easy solution. If you understand the simple pictures that are posted above here on the website and can follow them, then you can install this back light.
A WORD OF CAUTION: Use extreme caution when removing the screws from the Turnigy transmitter. I have a few screws that will not tighten back up because they were installed very tight at the factory. I will have to put a dab of JB weld or some thread locking compound inside of the holes to ensure the threads are tight.
Overall a good product for an even better price. I think it's time for some night flying!
