Hello I got this antenna ( Frsky kit) and updated by Turnigy 9X. The antenna has broken (?) just above the bottom most threaded section (where the exterior of the antenna goes from smooth plastic to grooved plastic. I imagine the antenna wire is supposed to be unbroken at this point rather than simply pressure fit into place. I am just hesitant to turn on the TX as I understand its not a good idea to power up transmitters with out attaching antennas. Any help with this would be great :)

if the end of the cable is a small circular brass colored connector on the end, it may be a snap connector. From the images I've seen of the FrSky kit, it looks like a solder connection with black heat shrink tubing over the connection. If this is what you have, the thin gray wire is a two conductor coaxial cable...there's the gray outer insulation, a silver looking layer under that (that's the ground shield) another insulator and a center, "stinger" conductor. When this is attached to the RP-SMA female connector, it's important that the shield part encases, but is insulated from, the stinger connection after it's been soldered in place. it takes a steady hand and a bit of doing but I have successfully soldered one on the back of my stock FlySky module so that I can swap between the new FrSky module and the stock FlySky module...hope this helps

I need to modify my TX to accept this antenna. What is the connector this connects to? I need one, does HK sell them? Thanks.

This is a reverse polarity SMA connector. Check the back of your WIFI router, it's that one :)

This is the original antenna. The same that you receive with the module.

FrSky 2.4G V8 Series 2db module Antenna...tökéletesen megegyezik a Djt modul dobozában talált antennával...ezért az árért érdemes tartalékba venni belole.
