Hello, I bought 4 of these servants, my problem inclu voltage of 4.8 V because my Ex TRUST Turnigy 70A SBEC Voltage 5.5v.Rischio working on burning the servo? Thank you.
buy a ubec and by-pass the esc's bec. It will regulate your voltage and make your esc more efficient in the process since it will not have to deal with dissipating the excess voltage, which translates into heat. Check this one www.link
It will provide usable power for your servos as long as you don't use over 6s lipos.
I have been using these servos with turnigy 60 esc's
it's said in the HK page it's 5.5 volts too but
they never have burned my servos. No problem with Turnigy ESCs
You can try to make a supply using a LDO regulator (Low Drop Out regulator) who needs to have less than 0.5V of minimum drop-out at maximum current. First searching datasheets sites. Good lucky!
I Have 5 of these, now 4 have busted secondary gears, which had heaps of play before they broke. If anyone has sucessfully fitted metal gears to these Please let us know which ones fit if any. I think these might actually have potential with a decent set of gears.
Fantastic servo for an incredibly low price. It cost only 12 cents more than the HKSCM 12-5 and gives you 0.5 kg more torque and is 0.03 sec faster. And it has a ball bearing on output shaft. It is a very good replacement to the good old work horse HXT900 at less than a dollar more. Only very slightly slower, 0.03 sec. and 3 mm higher (F) but with 0.4 kg more torque at 5V. Also HXT900 does not have any ball bearing on output shaft.
very smooth gear compare to e-sky digital servo very good looking with the blue heat sink. very nice and cheap for the look and quality evethough my was gear strip one out of 3.

Of the two, one lasted half a flight and then started jumping around randomly. I couldn't figure out why the airplane was flying so strangely, but the rudder servo had a mind of it's own. The second one is going in as replacement - it looks OK on the servo tester, but so did the first one.

J’ai acheté 5 servos et aucun ne reste au neutre ils bougent tout le temps, et les servos en mouvement bougent par à-coups, qualité médiocre, je ne peux pas les utiliser, je vais les mettre à la poubelle, 20 dollars de perdu.
I bought 5 servos and none remains with the neutral they move all the time, and the servos moving move by jolts, poor quality, I cannot use them, I will put them at the dustbin, 20 dollars of lost.
