Hi Can this be switched to mode 2 ? If so, does that require taking it apart to swap around the sticks? or is there a button or option in software to allow this?
 crazycarmaniac 392 points
its easier to open the case unbolt the thumb sticks and swap side then close everything. i dont think there is a way to change it using software and there defenitly is now button

Whats the difference between v1 and 2?
 NewToHobbyKing 14138 points
Ryan they both do not work with each other. The receiver on the V1 still has a Satellite Receiver where V2 has done away with it. What else do you need. The Tx looks the same.

How do you use the BIND Plug.

3 thumbs up!
Good controller and reciever combo for the price, one thing to note however the sticks can get a little stuck make sure you check for full motion range before you use it to fly.

What an amazing transmitter and receiver for the price! Sure, you have to initially setup the transmitter on a PC, but this is really easy, especially if you watch the videos and download the files that are on the hong kong version of this page. I was up and running in 10 minutes, with v-tail mixing, correct servo direction and sub trims set. I used this radio with the EPO parkjet that I got a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say it feels good in the hands, and I had no problem with interference despite having the plane over 200m away. Great job hobbyking, 5 stars for this one. :)

I have three of these radios on T-rex 450,HK600 and 70mm EDF jet and have not had an issue and with them. Sooo cheap of price tag can`t praise them enough, even extra recievers are the cheapest I`ve seen. Light weight and no sattelite reciever - easy as. The software from the www.link works well, but always have radio connected when changing settings. Only drawback is a laptop or web book is required at field to change settings/model program, but infite number of models can be saved and recalled. the same settings can be saved/loaded to multiple transmitters and or recievers with not even a trim change. Will recommend to everyone. Great work HK.
