HK-T6A V2. What are the two toggle switches for. I only need 2 channels for model racing yachts, but the older version 4 channel with no toggles is no longer available. Have been using them for years with no problems. Now the left hand controller that is used for sail adjustment wont work, but will if I use the left hand toggle switch. I am not expert in electronics but have sailed these model yachts for many years. need help.

Sail boat radio transmitter/receiver I have purchased a sailboat and need to buy a 2.4Ghz transmitter and receiver. Can any one recommend a basic model. I a minimum of two channels. The Austr***an warehouse does not stock them , crazy as they sell the boat. Thanks Ron

Hi Ron, I have this TX/RX and it works great, but i only used it with planes. I actually prefer the feel of the stick gimbals to my more expensive transmitter! Never had any problems with it. It has plenty of channels, but i don't know if you need anything special in a TX for a boat. Someone else may chime in.

Can you please supply a user guide for the HK-T6A V2 purchased recently as I only have the user guide for the old 4 channel. With new members I will have to scan and print some copies. Regards DON sINCLAIR

Donald the best I can offer is go to "YouTubes". There you will find many videos on this Rc System.

How would you bind the (HobbyKing Spec FPV250 V2 Quad Copter ARF Combo Kit - Mini Sized FPV Multi-Rotor (ARF)) to the controller?
 Dukejet 35 points
Simple bind procedure, Plug the esc into the channel 3 ** plug the small black loop into the receiver on the Bat channel that has 2 pins, above the 6th channel ** plug the battery into the esc ** the receiver will blink slowly ** Hold down the bind button on the TX while you turn on the TX, keep hold of the bind button till you see the RX light change to a solid light {no blinking} release the bind button and unplug the battery and remove the bind loop from the RX ** turn off the Tx All done! Now to test, turn on the Tx plug in the battery to the esc and she should be all go.....

3 thumbs up!
Good controller and reciever combo for the price, one thing to note however the sticks can get a little stuck make sure you check for full motion range before you use it to fly.

What an amazing transmitter and receiver for the price! Sure, you have to initially setup the transmitter on a PC, but this is really easy, especially if you watch the videos and download the files that are on the hong kong version of this page. I was up and running in 10 minutes, with v-tail mixing, correct servo direction and sub trims set. I used this radio with the EPO parkjet that I got a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say it feels good in the hands, and I had no problem with interference despite having the plane over 200m away. Great job hobbyking, 5 stars for this one. :)

I have three of these radios on T-rex 450,HK600 and 70mm EDF jet and have not had an issue and with them. Sooo cheap of price tag can`t praise them enough, even extra recievers are the cheapest I`ve seen. Light weight and no sattelite reciever - easy as. The software from the www.link works well, but always have radio connected when changing settings. Only drawback is a laptop or web book is required at field to change settings/model program, but infite number of models can be saved and recalled. the same settings can be saved/loaded to multiple transmitters and or recievers with not even a trim change. Will recommend to everyone. Great work HK.
