Very durrable and powerful motor for the money. Only ball bearings rust to death in a boat. Does any one know what size berings are inside and were can I get a replacement?
yes but you have to watch the temperatures of the engine.make sure you have a lipo that will supply the engine and esc with enough amps.also make sure you have good gearing ratio or it will over heat.
If you want a good motor for the fun jet go With the ntm prop drive 28-36 3000kv 750watts witha turnrgy trust 70 amp esc. I have just upgraded from the 55 amp to the 70 and I am yet to check its air speed. On the 55 amp Setup i measured my air speed with a gps logger at 210 km per hour. Can't wait to measure the 70 amp setup. I run this on 4s 1800 and 2200 nanotech, this is not a setup for beginners
I use this motor in my jet Skyfun. Very satisfied! It flies great, maesured speed more than 180 km/hod. Battery 3s 2200mAh Nanotech 45/90C. Propeller 5x5". Static current 56 Amp, 579 Watt.
It is better than my previous motor, Typhoon 2218 kV3450 with prop 4,7x4 (47 Amp, 492 Watt)
well, in ecalc it shows the motor overheating with a 4.1x4.1 propeller at 34A maximum. Anithing bigger by the calculation will simply melt the motor...
Leonardi you need to run this motor on a gearbox with maybe a 7x6 or 8x6 Slow Fly Prop. This motor is high RPM and low torque which means you will burn it out on direct drive hence the ecalc results. You could use this motor in an EDF only for direct drive. In a car set up it will be geared very low to use the rpm of the motor. Hope this helps you my friend. *)
I´*m making an upgrade to a brushed RC car 1/10 and I´*d like to know if this is a good upgrade for this motor: ***********mabuchi-motor.co.jp/cgi-bin/cat alog/e_catalog.cgi?CAT_ID=rs_360sh
Anyone know how long this motor has been on backorder? It is still holding up a large order of other stuff, but only motor that seems to fit the Go-Kart kit.
is this a good motor to use with HobbyKing Brushless Car ESC 30A w/ Reverse, Hobby King Programming Card for Car ESC, Turnigy nano-tech 1800mah 2S 25~50C Lipo AIRSOFT Pack
plz reply masa

i have the 1/10th scale RC10TC3 and im not sure what size diameter motor i need and what the distance between the mounting holes are. Anyone here help?
I have a 1/16 traxxas with a 380 tittan brushed motor in it, I am thinking about putting this motor in it.... a) Is this possible b) I want to run 2 lipo's...what size should i use that will fit into my traxxas little battery slots. c)what ESC should i run with this motor.
This motor is too small for the Rustler and Stampede. This one is the same diameter of the 1/16 Mini Revo motor!
You want to find a 540 can for the Rustler and Stampede, also a 35A ESC is too small for the Rustler and Stampede, go with at least 60A.
This engine does not mount on the rustler and stampede at a distance because of the mounting holes being 17 mm and the diameter of the body to be 24 mm, a search engine with the body of the diameter of 36 mm and distances of the mounting holes 25 mm. It has tons in Hk.
I want to replace my Ammo 2445 3790kv on 4s using a hyperflow 55mm fan. Does this have the right stuff & power to match it. I hope the specs are under estimating what this new line of motors can handle. 350 watts & 32A on 12v max. That is so dam weak for this size of motor WTF is that!!!
no this will not fit you will need a 36 mm can or a 550 size can motor run a 3300kv in a slash and i love it

Just received this motor. It's very well made. It's actually Suxfly motor but the pic above does not show that. The shaft is 3mm as stated. Length is 45.17mm and diameter is 24.05mm exactly. www.suxfly.com
Very pleased with purchase!

I`ve put this motor in a Holliday buggy white a 20t pinion and the 60amp esc www.link toke some hobbying to fit it in this car because normally a 20t does not fit. I’ve put a peace of (children’s) straw on the shaft to get it to 3,17mm, that worked fine. Used the Turnegy 5.000 mah lipo. www.link power, almost uncontrollable. The 350 watt of power makes the car wheelie when you go from half throttle to full power.
Great great great for just a little money
Engine excellent quality! They come in pretty boxes, perfectly packaged. I bought two of these engines as a test for the F-14 EDF. The parameters seem to be good. After testing I will describe the relationship.
