Hi, any recommendations on the cell checker for this battery? And at what voltage should I stop when im running on my mini rally to avoid over discharge the batteries. Thanks.
 DAJARAJA 310 points
I have been using this one for 2 years.HobbyKing Cell Key - 6s Lipoly Cell checker.cons-just showing signs of wear on screen(black paint fading).hard to see numbers in sunlight(just cover with hand).pros= accurate readings to charger.basic, but great.buy what you can afford Ahmad.they are 1 of the most important item's to have in your tool box(have proven this to me plenty of times).when this 1 ever starts not working , ill will upgrade to the 10 dollar range one's.i stop at around 3.80 per cell(80% discharge of lipo is the recommended stopping point for lipo's,around 3.75 per cell).good read is on this site rchelicopterfun**** =accessory info-rc lipo batteries .goodluck happy flying

Anyone else get "connection break" when trying to balance with the imax b6? Any tips on getting this balanced? i removed the cover of the battery and the leads are soldered correctly. Then testing balance leads i get 4V on one lead and 7V on the other. seems right to me. I bought my imaxB6 on ebay. Maybe a counterfeit? Any help is much appreciateded. Thanks, -Chad

thanks for the reply. i did more research and i'm sure it's the fake charger. Will be getting real one soon.

Tis is a great battery I use it for my traxxas stampede and turnigy 1/16sct. For my stampede I used an adaptor that you can get for $3 at eBay. I recommend this battery can't go wrong for the price.

will it fit hsp 1/16 buggy electric already bought 2 without thinking just thinking if it would blow anything up?
 DAJARAJA 310 points
first of all noah,im only going to give you pointers on what you should be looking at.your car if it is this car(94185).you need to be looking at the esc and motor only.servos /rx =the esc more than likely has a bec or something built into it so no problems their.research the esc and motor if its compatable with lipos.yes some have said (vids also)that this can be done, but there are diferent esc and motor setups in these cars ive noticed.research this online ,hsp 1/16 buggy electric 94185 with lipo battery .should be faster results (ive seen the info)but make sure everything on your car is the same as what they are using without probs(namely the ESC and MOTOR).do these 2 things and you shouldnt be blowing up anything with lipos .i dont own this car so dont know for sure.but this is what i would be doing .goodluck:)

Hi, in my Accucel 6, I use 3 to 3.5 amps. It takes about 20~25 mins ballancing. Use in max, 3x the battery amps capacity on lipos.
Chad  1 points - 4/19/2013

Could anyone tell me what I should charge this battery at with the Accucel 6 and about how long it takes to charge?
 IgonoZ 1 points
Hi, in my Accucel 6, I use 3 to 3.5 amps. It takes about 20~25 mins ballancing. Use in max, 3x the battery amps capacity on lipos.
 Redfisher 41 points
Yeah I charge it at 4 amps
mark michael  2 points - 4/14/2013

i had a question, is my battery damage, i had 2 of this battery, the other one charge properly but the other one state connection break when connected to the charger. im using turnigy accucel-6 charger.
 DAJARAJA 310 points
hey mark,i dont own this charger(similar)theirs alot of reasons why you get connection break.if 1 lipo is working and the other isnt,it could be the power connector on the lipo.this is what i did to troubleshoot.i copy/pasted your charger with connection break online, than jumped on hk forum with members having same problem ,which 1 sollution was lipo power plug was faulty.goodluck
 mark michael 2 points
so probably the connection plug of the battery cuz my other battery works fine, or could be bad cell. il better get to talk for HK support cuz i just receive this item the other day maybe i could get a warranty or something
 DAJARAJA 310 points
no mark ,this was just 1 solution to the problem(connection break),members suggested alot of things mostly to do with connections being bad either charger or lipo.but 2 members suggested the fix above (same scenario as yours).but if you decide to talk to hk support their is a warranty for lipos when you get them (on your account page, warranty codes)do this first if you havent already ,its only for limited time but i have done this outside the time which seemed to work (but have never had to returned a lipo)next time you buy ,buy a hk cell checker they are very handy when at the field etc good luck :)

 DAJARAJA 310 points
yes you can vai the ballance plug.it say 2s/3s compatable.have you brought this charger Mustafa?
 Bahecuk 12 points
yes, but it will take 3-4 hours to charge this battery, so to charge 3 batteries(to have couple hours of runtime) you will have to charge them for the whole day
 DAJARAJA 310 points
im with you Bahecuk, that was going to be my next answer. happyflying :)
Tito X  28 points - 4/11/2013

What Charger do you reccomend me for this
 Bahecuk 12 points
Look for chargers like b6ac, they are extremly cheap and for small batteries like this they work great.
 DAJARAJA 310 points
just to add to Bahecuk, research is key.copy paste this .good knowlage (advice)all on 1 page a newbie must www.link goodluck.
 DAJARAJA 310 points
sorry some of my answer has being blocked.adding to Bahecuk again.get the best charger you can afford which Bahecuk has suggested a good 1 for price.its got alot of good options for programming which youll find beneficial as your knowlage grows in rc. goodluck
Chad  1 points - 4/11/2013

I'm not comfortable soldering. So I will give this adapter a try. Thanks for your reply
 DAJARAJA 310 points
no probs Chad,my only advice is.when first running car with connection, check wire at short intervals(that its not getting too hot.goodluck
Chad  1 points - 4/10/2013

I plan on buying this battery for my Mini 8 I know these are a direct fit. However the discharge connector is XT60 will the xt60 to losi ec2 adapter work to connect this battery to the ESC? the wire looks really thin that has me worried?
 DAJARAJA 310 points
hey Chad, yes it will work but this is only my opinion.i would make my own connector using bigger gauge wire or use(solder) connectors of choice onto lipo and esc ends also considering how your going to charge lipo.i think its a better alternative than the connector.goodluck
Gerald77  6 points - 4/3/2013

I've just received this battery and realised i dont have a cable to connect the jst plug to the charger. I do have an xt-60 cable charger that would go into the xt-60 battery connector but dont know if i can charge the battery this way. Can anyine help?
 Chris 2 points
You can carve the battery with the xt60 connector. However you must ensure the charger is properly set up to charge a 2 cell lipo. And the battery will not be balance charged
mark michael  2 points - 4/1/2013

how to maintain the battery properly if not to be use for long time in order not to be damage? how many weeks for it to drain without use. thnkx
 NHPILOT 103 points
Lipos like to be stored at about 3.80-3.85 volts per cell for long term storage. So because this is a 2S battery, aim for 7.60-7.70 volts total. Many chargers have a "storage" function that will put the battery right were it needs to be, check yours to see if it has that feature. The voltage will not move much over time, I have stored batteries for 6 months in this voltage range and they still right about there when I went to use them again.

Trying to charge with my B6 Imax on the balanced port but it beeps with Connection break. Can one charge it directly from the main power lead. Thanks
 Gary 3001 points
To charge you need to connect the battery to the charger via the main discharge plug on the battery, you can then if you wish do an unbalanced charge, for a balanced charge you need to connect the balance lead AS WELL.

getting my 1/16 rally car delivered soon uk customs currently processing it i only have 3s 2200 lipos at the moment and after watching a few youtube vids of the car i think my 3s's will be too much for it so will this be a good fit and still give me good speed

Hi all,This battery is out of stock, any suggestions? I'm new to electric trucks but have built a few nitro trucks over the years. just bought the turnigy 1:16 beetle with every thing to get it going but no battery.
 chris 132 points
check this link address www.link this battery is abit wider but if it fits it got a biger capacity 2200mah so will last long abd it has a massive disscharge rate of 40-80c so it would over work the batt and will stay in good condtion and if you ESC is 60 you will need a comtinus current c rate of 90amp so your only using 2/3 power because exceeding the disscharge rate of a lipo is really BAD.
Lucas  5 points - 12/13/2012

it fit perfectly (and space) in my Turnigy buggy racing and also the Turnigy TR-V7 Drift Car!! anything in racing buggy need some adjustments as drilling the chassis and change the position of the limiter battery
HANSASHIP  30 points - 11/25/2012

just ordered 3 of this batteries for use on Sea Warrier Sea Rider, Small Bolt Centurion, as they are much lighter (82gr) and still 50% more capacity as the original NiMh at 1100mA (103gr). I'm downgrading from and Zippy 3C 2200ma. Boats are still fast enough for our little city ponds here in Cartagena, Colombia, but run almost dry !!! If You are going to use this batteries on the Monter Beetle, Short Course Truck and Rally cars, You probably will get out 20 to 30 min. of runtime. If You want a little bit more weight in the car and 30 to 40 min. Runtime, use the Rhino 2C 2150mh battery (132gr), 50 grs more and they fit perfectly into these car's battery slots. Rgds, manfred

Good day. I am looking for some insight on this product from varified users/owners. The size specifications of this LiPo pack as stated on the Product Config Table ** 100mm x 26.5mm x 20mm ** are these measurements accurate and correct? I own the Losi mini 8IGHT and would like to know if this pack will fit without any modifications? (Preferably from varified users/owners). Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
 ezarc 138 points
The measurements are correct, but I don't know about the size of battery that your car can accept.

Thank you EZARC! As you say, the specifications are accurate - then it should fit right-in. I have ordered one just to make sure and if it's a good fit I'll be ordering some more.
 vasy1 605 points
I do have Mini 8ight and it fits no problem. it is actaully a little too narrow but works fine.
 Nikolas Dudecek 2 points
Hi VASY1, many thanks for the useful information. I assumed it would be a little narrow as the stock Losi 7.2v 1100mAh NiMH pack comes in at 101.0mm x 30.5mm x 17.0mm - once again, much appreciated! Two coming my way with a charger, can't wait for extended run times and extra punch!

I have a 1/16 HSP short co**** truck with a 7.2 Ni cad brushed set up. Can i run this battery if i use a low voltage alarm on it?

to the best of my knowledge you should be able to....it definatly wont burn up plugging it in or on the first run....but rather be careful and watch the temp of batt/esc and motor

Fits perfectly into the 1/16 monster buggy. Great run times of about 25 mins, and that's full throttle only slowing for turns. Constantly pulling 1710-1720 mah out of each charge. Great battery. I charge at 2c, but specifications state it's able to handle a 5c charge rate!!!

I run on a 1/16 Brushless 4WD Short Course Truck, and in HSP Buggy Troian 1/16. The battery fits perfect. On HSP can be bigger.

And can run near 10-12 minutes. Depend your agresivity.
