These batteries are great, I have the 25-35c version and i've dropped it out of a plane from about 35 feet above ground twice and its fine! most batteries would've puffed up from that and registered unbalanced during charging. great batt
Would be easier to help if I knew the motor and esc your using. That being said your esc has a range of options, should look something like this (Battery: 2-6 Cell Lipo / 5-18 Cell Ni-XX)... Also your motor will show something similar to that... like this (Cells: 2~4S) The Discharge rate such as 20c,30c,45c...etc is simply how fast a battery can be discharged safely. And the Mah value is just the capacity of the battery. Choose the correct number of cells for your esc/motor then get the biggest Mah pack your RC can carry based on the room you have available, and the weight you can carry.
I'm looking at buying some much larger batteries like this, but I've been using XT60 connectors and prefer them now. Any reason I can't keep using them on this battery? I'm sure I can handle the soldering job. Not a big fan of Deans anymore.
what you can do is cut the wires one by one then solder it is fairly easy im 12 years old and i do it with no problem of take a xt60 and a banana plug solder them together and you have an adapter for that set of batteries and it works great
Solder Heat on the XT60 for more than a few seconds cause the connector to melt and the pins reposition.
1)Heavy wires need to be heated first until liquid.
2)Flux the connector so it goes fast.
3)Use a vice to hold the wires.
4)Use plyers to hold the HT60.
5) PUT HEAT SHRINK tubes ON THE WIRES FIRST.
6)The vice keeps the heat away from the shriktubes.
7) When all cool, slide the heat-shrink tubes over the connectors and use heat gun to shrink.
God I wish I didn't have to do this, but could buy with HT60 already on them.
This item is awesome with the traxxas Velineon 3S system. Traxxas Rustler hits 40plus mph...

Some of the best money I've spent on this site!!! Running two of these in series (6s) in my 1/10 Brushless E-Revo and am absolutely blown away by the performance!
Fits into the factory locations with NO modifications necessary. Making nonstop wide open passes for anywhere from 35-45 minutes, both batteries finish up barely warm to the touch!!! Batteries taking as much as 5400mah with no problems balancing.
Best part was only 2 days from order to my doorstep from the US distribution center. WAY TO GO HOBBYKING!!!
