I have a multi-rotor with a T-Connector female for the lipo. Need to know which lipo adapter I need for this battery... I am currently using a 2200 lipo, with yellow connector, and have fashioned an T adapter to support that connector type, but need to upgrade to 5000 for more flight time.
The connector is a "HXT 4mm" with a space found in
> Hardware & Accessories > Wires & Plugs > Battery/ESC/Motor Connectors
10 sets for $4.12, you solder.
Or pre-soldered listed under "HXT4mm"
Chargers & Accessories > Battery Adapters
10 sets for $10.70 5 for battery and 5 for frame
Im only running 20A ESCs on my Quad with 1400kv Turnigy motors with 8045 props and my 2200mah battery works perfect. Anyone run this 5000mah battery on a similar set up? was the flight time worth the 3x cost of the 2200? Right now I get about 10 minutes of flight time, but I am unsure if I should get this or just more 2200's. Thanks!
You would get about double the flight time (roughly). Take into account the extra weight of the pack and I would say your better off picking up a few more 2200 mAh packs. Also you get the added benefit of cooling the motors and esc's between battery changes.
These batteries are great, I have the 25-35c version and i've dropped it out of a plane from about 35 feet above ground twice and its fine! most batteries would've puffed up from that and registered unbalanced during charging. great batt
This item is awesome with the traxxas Velineon 3S system. Traxxas Rustler hits 40plus mph...

Some of the best money I've spent on this site!!! Running two of these in series (6s) in my 1/10 Brushless E-Revo and am absolutely blown away by the performance!
Fits into the factory locations with NO modifications necessary. Making nonstop wide open passes for anywhere from 35-45 minutes, both batteries finish up barely warm to the touch!!! Batteries taking as much as 5400mah with no problems balancing.
Best part was only 2 days from order to my doorstep from the US distribution center. WAY TO GO HOBBYKING!!!
