Turnigy batteries are known the world over for performance, reliability and price. It’s no surprise to us that Turnigy Lipoly packs are the go-to pack for those in the know. Turnigy batteries deliver the full rated capacity at a price everyone can afford.
Turnigy batteries are equipped with heavy duty discharge leads to minimise resistance and sustain high current loads. Turnigy batteries stand up to the punishing extremes of aerobatic flight and RC vehicles. Each pack is equipped with gold plated connectors and JST-XH style balance connectors. All Turnigy Lipoly batteries packs are assembled using IR matched cells.
You won’t find a better deal in Lipoly batteries anywhere!
Ray it kind of depends on the usage of the battery pack. Will you be using the full amp discharge rating of the battery? If not, then yes you can use a smaller gauge for an adapter. But why would you need the adapter? Are you adding an extension to a esc in a airframe to locate the battery somewhere else?
I bought a zippy 2200 mamps lipo battery it has 10 gauge wire and xt60 electric connectors I fly with ec3 connectors I can solder this heavy of wire in a ec3 my question to you is can I use a 12 gauge wire on a short adaptor with causes a fire please forgive my typing ray
In theory this battery would peak at 88Amps, with a normal max of 66Amps. Your adapter is probably rated at 60Amps which is the normal max for the XT 60 connector. If you know your model draws less than 60 Amps you should be fine. Its also easy to do a test. Hook it up and run it for a few minutes. If the wiring gets hot to the touch I wouldn't run it. Connectors are a personal preference. Personally I would replace the connector if my standard was EC3. It has the same current rating as the XT60.
I am very discouraged that pricing here is HIGHER in USA than International. While other vendors are selling this same size battery for $12.99 I would need to pay you $15.85 to buy from you. How about price matching??? Let me know and I will buy 4 of these right now.
Easy, they charge less for shipping in the US warehouse because its already made it halfway. But, because they had to pay to get it to america, they have to make up thier costs by charging more for the product.
I see a lot of different information on items claiming discharge / charge plug in reference to these batteries. Is one suppose to discharge these batteries other then under just plain use or is there something required to discharge a battery for maintenance reasons ? I am some what confused.. Does anyone know the expected number ot possible recharges on this model battery?
I need to know if i am suppose to register these batteries since i read somewhere for the warrantee it is necessary to do that somehow? I did have one with only several uses go bad on me.
Thanks for any answers
I ordered 6 packs. Happy with the battery but big warning on the back that says don't charge at more than 2C. Well the website says MAX CHARGE RATE 5C. Angry about false advertising but what do you expect for the price. Other than the charging C being miss labeled, the battery works fine. Have about 3 cycles on each of the 6 packs and they all work fine. I'm just happy I ordered two ECO 6-10 chargers when I ordered the batteries.

Very impressed with the USA warehouse shipping. Ordered on a Saturday, received on Wednesday. Much better than the non-US warehouses.

I specifically ordered these because they were listed as being 5C charge rate batteries. When they were received, the label on the back indicated max of 2C charge rate.
