I see a lot of different information on items claiming discharge / charge plug in reference to these batteries. Is one suppose to discharge these batteries other then under just plain use or is there something required to discharge a battery for maintenance reasons ? I am some what confused.. Does anyone know the expected number ot possible recharges on this model battery? Thanks

They should be stored with just a partial charge to maximize life and battery performance. Having a decent balance charger makes this easy.

I need to know if i am suppose to register these batteries since i read somewhere for the warrantee it is necessary to do that somehow? I did have one with only several uses go bad on me. Thanks for any answers

If I want more flight time on a quad (or anything for that matter) shouldn't I be able to put batteries like this in parallel to increase the mAH, and at the same time, doubling the current "C" value as well? I know I could just buy a battery with bigger capacity to begin with, but this seems to be a good "all around" battery, and will be fine one at a time on some planes, while I might want more current/mAh for some vehicles, and am wondering if I could just put the [identical] batteries I have in parallel... Is there a downside?
 Dave 34 points
My thought on the double batteries it that yes you will have more power for sure and might give a little more time but you have to consider that now your quad has to carry twice the weight. I would think you might be more time but maybe not 16 mins. but perhaps more time..

I took the "Alula-Eva" for a little bit of slope soaring.... And the 3s 2200mah lipo kept it running for more than 6 hours that day...!!! :) The "Alula-Eva"whas still a little bit to light with these wind conditions, so i had to add about 40 more grams to make it more stable.. so a bigger lipo would not be a problem at all... I got a lot of questions about the "Alula-Eva", So... if anyone likes more info on the "Alula-Eva", Please read the description of this video on YouTube..!!!.......>> Thank You <<......

Would this battery work for a quadcopter with motors that pull 12a each? I did the math (c rating x capacity= max amps of battery) but I am wondering if it is too close to the max.
 Daniel 2 points
I use it on my tri that has 3 x18A motors = 54A. I weighs about a Kilo and runs for 8 minutes. I am not skilled enough to do aerobatics, but there is plenty of power.(More than I need). You should be fine with 4 motors x 12A = 48A. The theoretical value is 2.200A x 30 = 66A (Well above your 48). It is unlikely you will pull full current for an extended time unless you are a stunt pilot.

I ordered 6 packs. Happy with the battery but big warning on the back that says don't charge at more than 2C. Well the website says MAX CHARGE RATE 5C. Angry about false advertising but what do you expect for the price. Other than the charging C being miss labeled, the battery works fine. Have about 3 cycles on each of the 6 packs and they all work fine. I'm just happy I ordered two ECO 6-10 chargers when I ordered the batteries.

Very impressed with the USA warehouse shipping. Ordered on a Saturday, received on Wednesday. Much better than the non-US warehouses.

I specifically ordered these because they were listed as being 5C charge rate batteries. When they were received, the label on the back indicated max of 2C charge rate.
