The new number one in performance and price! The new Turnigy Lipoly packs deliver full capacity at the said C rate. You wont find a better deal in Lithium Polymer batteries anywhere!
It comes with XT60 connectors. You need to remove those and solder on your own EC3 plugs. You can find those here in the global warehouse keyword EC3x10. Videos on how to do it can be found on youtube.
They typically come with a female XT60. The small ones have female JST connectors and the big ones have 4mm bullet connectors. This battery in particular has a female XT60.
I have bought many speed controllers and all have black(negative) and red(positive) wires leads to your batteries. Also where the wires are soldered to tou speed control it will have the /- marking for the positive and negative leads. Hope this helps
Got these batteries on Feb 2012 and have put 100 cycles though them and charging them at 4C They are starting to puff up after each flight but once they cool down they return to normal size. I would say 100-120 cycles that charges at 4C like 30mis or less is a great for a battery that costs 16 dollars. I used a 200 dollar electronic LCD balance charger that monitors each cell Your mileage may vary depending on the quality of your charger.
Connectors are always cheap so I believe it is not a big deal to change them either by yourself or in your local hobbyshop, I changed them for my T-28 and the batteries work perfect!
quick to do yes, but why should you have to pay extra to replace connectors of same kind. i run xt60 on all my models 3 cell or lower, 3c5 on 4 cell and up. just think they should supply the good ones, not the ones that replacing.
really, roughly how many cycles did you get. i noticed a drop in head speed on my 450 sized heli the other day. it was with the 20-30c version though...
There are a LOT of factors which affect battery performance. The connectors are just one of them. More important is how you treat the batteries (break in, total usage, etc.)
i always swap these out for deans.I prefer deans.. and they are awesome to use anyways.. I would suggest you solder the connector of your choice to it. You'll be happier! :)
I run deans on all my electrics, easy and secure connections. i recommend changing to deans just for the mere fact they are easy to get apart, not risking damage to the plane!
Ordered 2 of these and 2 other items from the USA warehouse on 12-07-2010. Everything was in stock. Here it is 12-16-2010 and it's still saying processing even though everything I ordered was in stock. It has taken 10 days and the order still hasn't left the warehouse. BaaaHumBug. I'll be thinking twice before I order anymore from HK. This is RIDICULOUS!!!!
I ordered 3 batts from usa warehouse on 2/16/11 and got them on 2/22/11.
I bet yours took a while being that close to Christmas. Ive always had good luck with hobbyking.
As the USA warehouse is kind of new, this could be understandable, I just bought 3 batteries and the delivery time was ok, I mean standard!!! Good experience...
OK, my order was on 2/16/2011 from the US warehouse and the batteries showed in stock. Now on March 1st I get an email saying it was about to ship. That's over 2 weeks to get batteries from the US warehouse. (Assuming they actually ship.) Not a great experience for my 1st order from HK.
I have ordered quite a few of these batteries. The ones that I ordered from the US Warehouse shipped out quickly, but USPS really drug there feet and took 9 days for delivery. Keep in mind that on 12/16 you are in the middle of the Christmas rush.
I ordered 2 of these from the US warehouse and got them in less than a week.

Tried service from USA warehouse. Seems to be fine. shipped in two days received in 3. Have used since and similar experience. Product great used and purchased many.
I ordered 6 packs. Happy with the battery but big warning on the back that says don't charge at more than 2C. Well the website says MAX CHARGE RATE 5C. Angry about false advertising but what do you expect for the price. Other than the charging C being miss labeled, the battery works fine. Have about 3 cycles on each of the 6 packs and they all work fine. I'm just happy I ordered two ECO 6-10 chargers when I ordered the batteries.

Very impressed with the USA warehouse shipping. Ordered on a Saturday, received on Wednesday. Much better than the non-US warehouses.

I specifically ordered these because they were listed as being 5C charge rate batteries. When they were received, the label on the back indicated max of 2C charge rate.
