does this module display telemetry and if so how is it displayed? thank you

TX module in this combo is telemetry capable. But v8 RX from this combo is non telemetry one. So combo is not telemetry combo. If you need telemetry then choose other combo (prod id DJT) with D8 receiver. (alternatively you can get any other frsky D series receiver and get telemetry with this module. My favorite is d4r-ii plus RX) Displaying telemetry requires either FrSky FLD-02 Telemetry Display Screen either can be displayed on t9x screen. First way is plug and play... second requires significant t9x mods (reflashing t9x with er9xfrsky firmware and adding rs232 to serial hardware converter inside 9x, this requires very storng soldering skills to make changes in t9x atmega wiring) For me FrSky telemetry is only needed for RSSI alarm (buzzer is build-in module) so with D series receivers RSSI alarm do not require any mods. The rest of frsky telemetry is useless for my taste... better either use 3dr radio kit either use OSD. This gives much more info from FC.

Hi. Is this compatible with Turnigy 9X? Tks

Fits straight in to the 9XR small mod to the connector to fit in the 9X, but the 9XR is a much better choice

I just up graded my 9x with the DJT module ,and now the and the throttle and ail channel stay on and I can't turn them off. Please help

first you need to change both tx module and rx. Second you need to bind rx with tx module... third.. the common problem tx module connector pins sometimes bend when you plug in module and go aside of tx module sockets.. check this might be a reason..

I installed this to a stock Turnigy 9X and I am having trouble. I set the transmitter to PPM and managed to bind the TX with the RX without any trouble. But then I noticed that CH1 is not transmitting. On the 9X on mode 2, CH1 is reserved for ROLL. So for now ROLL is not working on my Quad. When I change it to Mode 3 (Roll and Yaw are switched), Yaw stops working and Roll starts working. I also changed the cables connected to the output of the RX to make sure it is not a controller error. Anyone had this issue? Any suggestions?

t9x and frsky has different mapping of first 4 channels ... your first 4 channels must all work but now mapping of roll, pitch, throttle, yaw changed. There are 2 ways... first just rewire rx to fc signal wires to match new order... (this is simpliest way if you use channel-by-chatnnel rx to fc connection) Second way is to remap sticks sources to channels on tx via mixing menu on transmitter... (this is ONLY way if you use CPPM single wire connection of rx to fc)

I have remapped mine in TX as I use CPPM connection with d4r-ii receiver...

Is the above JR-combo suitable for the Turnigy 9XR TX,(9171000184) and does it need the above Antenna
 DanielDias 12 points
Hello, yes it is, i use in my 9xr and works great, the antena is the standard antela but you have other options for the antenna, you can use diferent 2,4ghz antennas. the best option i think is 2.4Ghz 7DB Antenna for FrSky Modules.

Why not to read before asking and ask the same question just next after the same one? As for antenna. Module has antenna on it... so no extra antenna required unless you want to replace stock one with some more advanced.

The JR 3810 is the same radio as the 8103. For marketing reasons it is labelled as the 8103 when sold in the USA, and as the 3810 everywhere else. Modules are interchangeable. The numbers stand for 3 model types, 8 channels, 10 model memories. So yes, it will accept the FrSky module.

Guys, I been using this modules since their first beta system , and I can tell you is the BEST SYSTEM YOU CAN GET here is the main Thing I can say:
a) True FHSS system (equivalent to Futaba FAST Frequency hopping)
b) True Fail Safe setup (and easy to setup)
c) Range test perform in our clud give better than 1.2 miles and this under heavy noise (we had 5 Spektrum and 5 Futaba systems ON plus one wireless system plus a noise generator on the 2.

Continuation:
c) Range test perform in our clud give better than 1.2 miles and this under heavy noise (we had 5 Spektrum and 5 Futaba systems ON plus one wireless system plus a noise generator on the 2.4GHZ spectrum) and the system perform w/o a problem.
d) Very tolerant to low voltage (put down the voltage under 3V and still was working)
In few works VERY GOOD SYSTEM, much better than any DSM system (Like Spektrum DSM2 or Corona DSM etc.), Ve
