C-Clip spacers will add preload , you can also stiffen them up a little by disassembling and putting a small amount of grease inside to increase the friction damping , however if you really want adjustability , you would be better off searching some aftermarket oil filled shocks

Thank you. Preload should be ok I suppose. Can you be a bit more specific where I can get those spaces from or how can they be manufactured at home. It's written that the clearance is adjustable for both the 1/18 truck and the 1/16 SCT (same shocks). How can this be achieved if the trucks don't have adjustable shocks?

The shock towers have different mounting points :) C-clips for 1:18 shocks can be found on ebay or similar , HK isnt stocking them yet . You can also make your own by finding any plastic or silicon tubing the same size as the outer shock body , cutting a slit in it and slipping over shock , that way you can make them any size you like , I have even seen people use zipties LOL The spring retainer slides , so anything between it and the shocker top can be used to add preload , the fancy clips just look cooler

These shocks are friction damped , not oil damped , to get oil shocks you would have to replaced them with aftermarket items

They are friction shocks, but you can screw the cap off and put some friction grease in it ti get some damping action. I hope this helps you!

pull down the nut, there is a small metall bar that needs to come out, shacke the car and hold it that it falls out. Then you can take the shockers apart and put a drop of oil in them (if you want, you can unscrew them, but that's not needed for oiling). I just did it, one shock was dampening and the other 3 were not, now they are all smooth, hope it allows the suspension to work best.

It's between rc pure and toy. Received yesterday, haven't tried but rebounds too much, no absorbe ***ps. HK should have hot-up oil ones.

They don't have a real dampening effekt, but nevertheless they work great. I suppose it's hardly any difference with this size... the car is crazyly agile, so I wouldn't know what could be improved on this part.
