The whole diff, afaict. Mini Inferno and the 1/16 buggy are said to be 99,5% the same, including this part and the whole diff. I haven't fitted the SMIF 1202 diff myself, but several others have and it looks very much the same.
I ordered GPM SMIF 1202, and it doesn´*t fit directly!! :-( Now I ordered the Mini Inferno Gearboxes, I´*ll write again, when I know if it fits then to the Rally car.
No, the whole Diff doesn´t fit into the gearbox.. I got this diff gearbox www.link the Differential would fit into this gearbox www.link ordered the gearboxes, that look like the last one from GPM, they are Aluminium and I hope, that it fits then!
110BS-32347 is the right one, 118B-30500 looks very wrong... If you get allow box, great for you =). The 110BS-32347 should hold SMIF 1202, but you also need a bit wider diff joints to fit that gear, like TMIF041. Please double check my info in the forums before you buy! Good luck.
I decided not to bother with this car. I bought a Losi mini 8 and WOW....the money you've spend to fix this car you could have bought a Losi mini 8. Gears are all harden steel been running countless runs with 3S batteries zero transmission issues.... My advice dont waste your $$$ on this car.
Okay, 118B-30500 was Original at this Car. So I thought, I could buy the Metal Gears and put them in.. Now I ordered GPM MIF012, I think it´*s the same like 110BS-32347, only out of aluminium. I ordered the Gearbox, the Joints(original Mini Inferno) and Bearings. The Gears out of Metal, I already have at home *-) I think it fits! But I´*ll write again, if I know. :-)
They wear out relatively fast for many people. Depends on your driving style, slipper clutch tension, maintenance, throttle curve etc. You'll probably need to replace the diff gears sooner or later, or get a steel kit for mini inferno (same parts as this HK buggy) like GPM SMIF1202 as HK does not carry diff parts with higher durability than these.
Can someone tell me the outer diameter of the gears. I would also appreciate an exact shaft diameter (somewhere around 1.5-2mm)
(I'm considering them for some other purpose)
I wouldn't bought monster beatle... if I know this spare parts never in stock... my beatle can not run because this gear worn out easily. Please make this stock available... or make some metal gear...
I agree this is a HUGE problem, these gears are **** and there is never stock. I bought a replacement complete diff, it has ball bearings so no more problems with these small gears. So far so good.
The monster Beetle has plastic diff gears? I'm about to buy one but if it's plastic than no way.
What material is this? Can't tell anything from this pic.
I lapped up this gear from the fact that the dust from the differential and small stones. I think that after the change necessarily will seal. Good quality at a reasonable price!
Cheaper than complete gear box. Good to replace in the rear diff.

They look to be a cast zinc gear, which is typical for gears of this size. they wear out fairly quickly with careless throttle use and unless you like rebuilding diffs all day they teach you to ease off the throttle when getting off the ground. It'd be nice to be abel to get these in steel, but for the price these zinc gears are very hard to beat.
These are now the most frequently replaced component of my A2003T truggy. If HobbyKing could supply them in steel for ten times the price, I'd buy.
