Hello, i would like to connect the cam directly to the receiver. Do you know if the cam can support the 4.8 volts of the receiver ? please do not copy the description text of 3.7 v max and answer only if you know the real max voltage. thks in advance
To everyone having trouble getting this camera to stay on!
I had the same problem and spoke to customer services and found a solution.
The supplied USB is useless, despite charging for several hours the blinking charge light never went off.
Just swap the lead out for another (not broken one) and charge for a full 6 hours or so, until the blinking light stops and the camera will operate fine.

Haha, I just noticed lots of people with the same problem, and then I had it. HK offered a refund but I'd rather a solution and that was it!
Battery? It's built in, if you mean Micro SD I think eBay, pretty cheap. The battery limits the recording size before the memory size does so I wouldn't bother with anything above 4GB.
I just got the camera and when i plug it in to my computer with an SD card in, the computer sees mothing? wondering if I recived a bad camera our am i missing somthing? Thanks.
Lately, I received 2 units with dead lipo. One was without LED light during charging and the other unit could not power on after charging. I opened the casing and measured the Lipo voltage, one was 0 volt while the other one only 0.03 volt. Hope HK would look into this QA/QC issue that has arisen recently.

Thanks, I also noticed the manual located in the file section which would agree with what you said.. Any ideal what the mode button does? and how to set it?
The mode button is for the camera turn on automatically with sound, not sure at what number of db will turn on but work great, auto mode will blink the led, manual mode will let the led still

I do not know what the problem is because my camera can capture only 8 minutes and then goes off? I don't know how long it should be charged with a USB cable?
You can charge all night if you like, just watch the blinking red and blue lights on top, they will tell you when its done. I always turn mine on then hook to a 5volt .5amp cell phone adaptor and it last to fill an 8gig card about 3 times.
hello, I have a problem with this type. It is not possible to charge it..blue light is still flashing (SD card is in!). I tryed to make a video but camera gave me just 1min 30sec long movie (maybe it is too cold outside, on wing 2°**C) :) any advices please?? Thanx a lot!! Jakub
Mine does this too. I'm not sure what the issue is? Every time I land the camera has stopped recording. Maybe there was an issue at the factory with programming them.
Hi Derek! I got an advice to try another cable or another power supply...I tryed it and now camera works like it is from Switzerland (works good) :)) So my advice is to try another cable or different pow.supply. I hope it´*s gonna be OK!
The battery went dead.. My is doing the same after 2 years of use, i just ordered a new one and is perfect with same power supply, for the price of this cam buy another..

First of all you must insert Micro SD card (16GB max.), then you push on the Power button, you choose your mode (video/photo) and you push on the button on the top to start record/take photo.
On your computer, Windows 7 will automatically install the pilot on your computer. Then you can find all your records and you can also use it as a webcam ! You can change date and time also if you want.

Sigo las instrucciones que se dan en "file" para cambiar la fecha y la hora de la camara pero no se actualiza.

He grabado el archivo TAG con la extension txt y sin ella y nada no se actualiza.
Ya lo consegui, aunque hay quien dice que no se actualiza sola la fecha y despues hay que volverla a cambiar.
Pero va, hay que hacerlo asi:
1º*- Conecta la camara al pc.
2º*- entra en la raiz del disco de la camara.
3º*- crea un archivo TXT y lo nombras TAG.TXT.
4º*- Abre ese archivo y colocas esta secuencia en su interior:
[date]
2013/02/17
17:45:00=
5º*- Actualiza la fecha y la hora a la actual sin alterar el orden. fecha-añ*o/mes/dia y hora/minutos/segundos
6º*- Guarda el archivo.
7º*- Desconecta la camara del ordenador, apagala, enciendela y haz una prueba de grabació*n. Despué*s vuelve a conectar al ordenador para ver la grabació*n y si se han actualizado los datos correctamente.
8º*- A disfrutarlo.

vaya, no se como lo ven los demá*s, pero la web la veo que se ha saltado todos los retornos de carro. Pongo el archivo en la pestañ*a file y así* lo puedes descargar ya compuesto. Porque no va todo escrito seguido sino con retornos de carro. Pasa por files y descarga el archivo TAG.TXT
Na parte de cima da camera ao lado do botã*o Play/stop acendem leds (vermelho e azulna minha) que indicam o funcionamento.
- Azul piscando rapido Sem cartã*o ou sem Bateria.
- Ao ligar a leitura do cartã*o será* feita vermelho piscando e azul acesa, terminada a leitura, somente AZUL ACESA, pronta para uso no modo filmagem (Aperta o play e começ*a a gravar vermelho pisca)
- Com a cam liga pronta pra gravar aperta o mode e ela entra no modo espiã*o

Crie um arquivo nomeado tag.txt em seu bloco de notas. Dentro dele, www.link coloque a data e horá*rio adequados e no lugar dos tils (~) coloque um espaç*o. É* necessá*rio existir este espaç*o, senã*o, nã*o vai funcionar.
Salve este arquivo na raiz do cartã*o de memó*ria. Desconecte a camera do computador e desligue. Ligue de novo e a data será* atualizada. Alguns modelos de camera exigem arquivo com nome date.txt. Veja em seu caso, se o tag ou date funcionam. Espero ter ajudado.
já* tive problemas com a bateria desta camera. No meu caso, aproveitei uma que estragou numa queda do aviao. Retirei a bateria boa e soldei na camera com bateria ruim... tudo funcionando ok! Você* pode comprar uma bateria 1s (3,7V) e soldar na camera. Se encontrar bateria maior que a original, pode deixá*-la externa... Tem que improvisar. Abraç*o e boa sorte

Setting Time 1) Connect the camera with computer 2) Create a new .TXT file in the root of the disk of the camera, then rename it TAG 3) Open the TAG file, edit the time in the file. (for example: DATE,2009/12/12 then change a line and edit time12:12:12 ), save this file, copy it to the root disk and exit, after that the time is set successfully 4) When starting the camera again next time, the time will be simultaneous as the time file.

Very small camera. It records nice videos for the size, color are vivid in high light environments. The 2Gb supplied memcard records up to 18 minutes of video with audio. See some awesome videos www.link the best!

Setting Time in the right way: 1) Connect the camera with computer. 2) Create a new txt file named tag.txt in the root of the disk of the camera. 3) Open the TAG file, write this info: [date] 2010/10/10 13:00 Lines has to have NO blank space at the end (place cursor just after the last character and then press ENTER)! Save this file, copy it to the root disk (DCIM) and exit, after that the time is set successfully. 4) Switch camera OFF/ON.
