YES YOU CAN :-)
however it is designed for heli because it has the cooling fan at the end. This is usually not needed in a plane and for sure it is OK for a car/truck. Just check that the other details like size, bolts, and axel will fit your car.

Like the price, the quality is a matter of luck* the windings are prone to shorting when the load briefly approaches the max of the motor. I've had two of these motors short out without the motor even getting handwarm, so build quality is an issue. My current motor runs well, so far so good... Jan.

30c 3000mah lipo is 90A max so yes you are exactly right skycraft, hook up your watt meter and start off with a 5 inch prop. Doesnt matter if it is a slow fly prop or not. Just know that the slow fly prop will flex more because its thin close to the hub. This will be an experiment for you and Im sorry I cant give you better information. But for this price I hope you buy it.

This looks identical to the 1600kv motor (previously known as Hobby King 500H Heli Motor 1600kv (500 Class)) I purchased 2 years ago and have been running on 6S 40C on my EXI500 with no problems. Specifications: Specifications: Dimension: 37mm x 56mm, 76mm(with shaft) Weight: 193g (kv1600) (including connectors) Voltage: 3-6S Max current: 55A Diameter of shaft: 5mm Length of front shaft: 20mm ESC: 65A A not-so serious upgrade for 500 class helis. Solid performance, and a perfect motor for first time 500 heli pilots.

Whether it means that if the rotor on my 500H 1600kv (500 Class)that you mention above went out I can replace it with the rotor from this motor?
