Will i need a glitch buster with this servo in a 1/10 short course truck. I have a 6V BEC 2a. I know i needed one in my 1/10 buggy with the Savox 1258
 abpst11 2 points
To answer my question, Yes, just like the savox, this servo needs a lot of power. Very fast servo, though

I was stating that the mounting holes are pretty much standard. Same as any other standees servo mounting holes. I have now purchased 3 of these servos all from the USA warehouse. There great servos. Equal to my savox 1258. Uses a futaba horn just like the savox as well! For the money u can't beat the quality.

Hi guys, what device do you use to test or program this servo ? I am planning to purchase 3 of these servos to be use as cyclic ( Turnigy 1258TG ) and a rudder servo ( Turnigy 1256TG will be use with Turnigy GR302-AD gyro, is this a good combo ) for my HK600gt project. Can this device be use with any servos ? And is it a must have device and why ? Please educate me on this, I am still new to this hobby ( been in it for a year now and Loving it ). Thanks in advance. Rick

Is there any way to program these servos? They're great, but actually (believe it or not) too fast for my application.
Bubu38  33 points - 1/19/2013

Hi! Do these servos match with flybarless systems?
Weppies  3 points - 12/17/2012

I am going to put these servos on a HK550, what is the best power management setup? Which UBEC would work best or do you recommend connecting the receiver directly from the ESC (Turnigy dlux 100A)?

Wich Frequency and center position? Same like Savox 1258TG (250Hz / 1520us)?
 jean-bernard 13 points

Can this be used on an unregulated a123 like the ds-120 servo?
 Wish_Mastera 17 points
This servo is not rated for high voltage. Probably will handle it but there is no point to risk. Specifications on 6v are good enough.
 fluffy11 134 points
yes, I have been running it with a 2cell 123 no problems I have 25 fights on it so far, but will work just as good at 6volt. hope this helps

I'm using this servo from 2 weeks and I'm disappointed. Speed is good, torque it enough at 5.7v. I mounted it on my 1/8 truggy and everything is looking good, except 1 thing. When I turn fast left-right-left-right the fan of the ESC almost stops. LED of the receiver also glows much lower. There is no difference if servo is tested with loaod or not. At end position of the servo horn happens the same. I though its from very big current consumption, but there is no difference whe using 5A external BEC. Other thing in hand is that this servo goes hot. I'm not sure if there is a problem with my servo, or it "normal" for this model, but I dont like it.

I've been using this servo running 6V on my 7HV for about 20 flights with mild 3D and so far, it's been excellent!...Centering, torque and speed is excellent. This is the best cheaper Servos I've used and I highly recommend it. How long will it last?...Time can only tell, but o far it's excellent!

Got 2 of these yesterday, and tested them in my widened Turnigy Trailblazer www.link The servos are FAST, have great torque, perfect centering and turn the tires on my truck with absolute ease! They do have titanium gears and should hold up well.

Very fast Servo. Has enough torque for a 1/8 EBuggy. I am using it in a LRP S8 bxe since one month. Not having any issues until now.

I am using the servo now since 4 months in a LRP S8 bxe and now in an Asso B4.1 as a steering servo. Great product. Very fast, precise and strong enough for a buggy. I would not recommend it in a Truggy as 13 kg is not enough torque.
