12 Channel Tx/Rx video system with CCD camera. The camera uses a quality glass lensed SONY CCD camera system & a powerful 1000mW tx.
Unlike other generic systems, we have produced a wiring loom and included it with the camera so that the Tx and camera will be compatible and on the same voltage. If you buy your camera and Tx seperately the plug polarity and voltages may be very different.
Included. 1 x SONY CCD 1/3inch Camera 1 x 2.4GHz 12 channel Video Transmitter (1000mW) 1 x 2.4GHz 12 channel Video Receiver

i wanted to buy this and put on my 2.4ghz car,
but someone told me there would be interference and it would reduce my range.
BUT, i was planning to hack the car, to control it with arduino and ps3 controller, so will it still interfere and reduce range?
thanks
hey
i wanna buy this and mount on my 2.4ghz band rc truck.
will there be any interference?
and also can the cam record?
and can i view it while my truck is in motion?
hello
i want to buy and mount this on my rc car, the car is a 2.4ghz, 1800 mah, bonzer cross tiger.
will there be any interference with the car and cam?
also can it record?
hi
sorry im a camera illiterate
i want to buy a cam and put it on my rc car and view the cam throught my tv while the car drives, can i do that?
also can this camera record?
Hi, after a crash I lost the cable that goes into the camera. Do you know what jst size should I buy to replace it? I got the camera back in one piece, but no more wire.... and do you know an easy way to find a box for it? thx
my power cable came defective however i cut the wire between the adapter and the inverter and soldered a deans so i cant connect any of my 3 cell packs.
Hi, I have actually a quadricopter (GAUI330X) and i use a Rhino 3700mAh 3S 11.1v 20C Lipoly Pack.
Can i connect this transmitter and the camera to the same Lipo ? Do you have a kit to have a second connector for my Lipo for example ? Many thanks.
You could power of of the same battery what style of connector are you using? You may have to make the y connector because all the ones i am finding have 1 male connector and 2 female.
hi,i have received my 2.4 1000mw Tx Rx & 1/3 inch CCD camera PAL this week and i have the same problem, the tx connect with the rx but no picture in the lcd. i check the channels , probably the camera is break? someone help me please
I have two of these kits and they arrive with wrong polrity so you have to resolder the wires that goes to the camera. Make sure that black goes to minus, red goes to plus, and the white cable goes v-out. You can find the symbols at the connector on the camera chip.
With the 1000mw power of the Tx, 2km minimum can be achieved. The neighbors won't probably notice the interference but here 2.4GHz WIFI will have a noticeable impact on \your video and range.
Hello,I have received my 2.4 1000mw Tx Rx & 1/3 inch CCD camera PAL..I have connected n there is no picture on my LCD ..hope u check ur items before despatch as we r buying the items from our hard earned cash....n pls dont make this hobby a night mare...Thnx Dev....email...arupsircar58*gmail****

Hello.
I have the 2.4GHZ 1000mW Tx Rx & 1/3-inch CCD Camera PAL and a Konig video capture device. I´*m using the VLC software to capture the image, but it as a unaceptable 3 seconds delay. What software do you use???
Hello everbody,
In fact i want to buy a combo Video Tx/Rx in order to pilot more easyly my raptor. So is there an AV-out plug in the Rx ? Where can i buy a LCD screen that could work on batteries and this Video Rx ?
Thanks for your answers,:)
Yes because it is long range and 2.4 is the best frequency for fpv.And the fpv pros use 2.4 for fpv and 72-35 mhz or 433 mhz like dragonlink or orange rx
I would be shooting at a paper target that could be either white or colored. I would be using a rifle. I would be 1,000 yards (3,000 feet away from the target and the camera would be placed near the ground looking at the target). Can you tell me a product number for the 500mW that you are suggesting?
I would like to use this remote camera for target practice at 1000 yards. Will the remote work at this distance? Do you think the camera will have a cklear picture of a paper target maybe placed 10 feet away? Your help will be appreciated. Dan
Yes but the transmitter would get overheated because of the high mW. Just go with something like 500mW. What colors does the paper target has? Are you going to shoot at it with a gun or a handbow?
The transmitter is in an aluminium housing. IF it is getting hot to the touch then strap it to a bit of metal and keep it out of the sun. Keep any metal away from the aerial and the aerial vertical for the transmitter and receiver. The higher you can get the transmitter and receiver from the ground the better your range will be. radio does NOT like being close to water or things with water in them like trees or salt lakes.
Salut,
Bon ..
Can anyone help please. I bought this camera and the True 5.8 / 2.4 GHz head tracking goggles sold by HK. I've connected the goggles and, using the instructions, switched to 2.4Ghz. I connected up the Tx battery and this camera using the wiring loom and got no picture at all. I've pressed the button on the Tx lots of times (I'm assuming this is how you cycle through the 12 Channels) but still no picture. I connected up my old 2.4Ghz camera and it connected no problem once I had the right channel on the goggles.
As I have no instructions with this camera there is no "Troubleshooting section" I can refer to
Any ideas anyone please?
If you are using the original camera that came with the kit you might want to check the polarity to the camera.
I had a black picture untill i swiched the polarity, just make sure that black goes to minus, red goes to plus, and the white cable goes v-out. You can find the symbols at the connector on the camera chip.
There may be interference when both camera and transmitter are using the same frequency. I have tested this on Spectrum and Hitec 2.4 GHz transmitters with 50mw and 1000mw camera transmitters and routinely lost signal. I now use a 1.2 GHz system on one plane and plan to buy a 5.8 GHz in the near future. The 2.4 GHz camera system works very well with my old 72 MHz transmitter.
hey,can i use this 2,4 ghz fpv system in my bixler with my hk t6a with also 2,4 ghz?or are there any problems because of the same frequency?
with friendly greetings

hey guys.
i have modded my tx so much and now i pulled it out of my plane but im not sure what wires are what. could somebody please tell me what the video wire is and what the audio wire is. either yellow or white. thanks.
trial and error would work but its a little complicated in my situation. thanks.
elf.
you can not use 2.4ghx video and 2.4ghz control. simply will not work. people say it can. but not as good.
just go with one of the other options. if your worried about antennas, make your own. the ones you can buy are crpa anywho. make a good pair of circular polorised ones.
elf.
deffinantly not advised. for some it works, but most its just doesnt.

1 thumbs up!
Some important information is missing from the specifications above:
TX = 80.8 gram TX plus antenna = 91.4 gram Camera = 12.6 gram Camera plus wires = 19.0 gram
Camera-TX-wire = 60 cm Lipo-TX-wire = 34 cm
I have not tried this setup in a plane yet, so I can't comment on the range. But I tested it in my living room... As soon as I switch on the TX, my WiFi network goes down... so must be very strong signal?
The image quality is OK.

1 thumbs up!
Great product for cheap price. I tested the range and worked with no interference at all at 3,3Km (2 miles). I believe it can go much further. I just would love if HobbyKing put a mic on it :)

Please HK, design glasses equivalent to fatshark, because today the price too high prevents the practice of FPV.

I am thinking to buy that set but it says no audiois it possible to add on a mic to transmitter or its impossible to have sound from this fpv system ????
