This jet boat drive is hand finished and precision CNC machined from billet alloy and comes complete with impeller system and vector thrust system. A powerful and exciting way to power bigger R/C boats.
i think ill buy two of this to make a personal submarine you know to go diving will be great with a water tight compartment and a couple of lipos and your set, i imagine two of this units with a good brushless set up will pull a grown man with out problems right?
I think for the price and size it's the only one you'll find, see Jettec for quality drive. On my drive the 2 halfs don't fit flush were you find the 2 bearings carrying the shaft. Took it appart, bearing outer diam 22mm and the seat for the bearings 21.5mm...I'll have to get it line bored and then use sealer when assembling again as it will pump water into the hull.
I bought 2 of these and before I commit myself by cutting a very large hole (or 2)in the bottom of my hull for the intake I would like to know some specifics....since they did not include any spec sheets. I am in need of Operational RPM limits (Min/Max)and torque requirements. In addition I found a parts list and drawing breakdown BUT it is in Chinese and I cannot read it. Is there a drawing that is in English? If anyone can help I would appreciate it Thanks Kevin
Start at about 25000rpm Kev & go from there. Keep increasing rpm via motor kv or input voltage and when it starts cavitating drop it back till you find the sweet spot! Torque required I guess will depend on what you want to push with it. Lots of very useful info on jet drive setups to be found here : www.link to say replace the DOTS with a dot lol, I dont thing links will work properly here. I have been looking at these drives for a while and would be interested to hear what your thoughts are on them re: quality, overall impression etc cheers
HK looks to be a copy of these
Induction pipe, nozzle and control module are CNC milled of high-quality aluminium .
The nozzle is adjustable in height so your boat can be adjusted to all water qualities.(Vector thrust system)
A reverse bucket is not installed.
Suitable engines are electro engines such as Scorpion 40-50er serie, Leopard 5692 as well as gasoline engines 26-30ccm.
Length: 210mm (8.27")
Height: 80mm (3.15")
Width: 81mm (3.19")
Weight: 670 g
Impeller: 52mm (Diameter) (2.05")
Optimum Impeller Rotation: 16000 rpm
Power: 2,2 Kw (3 Hp)
Thrust: 240 N
what type of hulls can you use this in? i like catermarans.. if anybody knows where to get a good selection of hulls please email me..is tho unit for electric? i have a boat from r2hobbies a 32.5" cat, they also have a twin cat its 36"..
had anyone got one of these set up with a big electric motor? If so, upload a video to youtube so i can be inspired to build one. otherwise i will just sell the hull and buy a new heli! i want to see a big power electric setup or even some ideas. I have a 44 inch hull and was going to run some large numbers like a 50mm can motor on 8 - 12s setup with this jet. what do you think? the build will probably be just over $1000 if I used HK parts. Throw out some ideas guys I can't wait to see some builds and replies.
No David. It's a jetpump. Like jetboats have. Instead of a propeller it's mounted in the rear of a boat, scoops water into a tube where an impeller squirts it through the transom & pushes the boat along. A bit like a ducted fan for water. It requires a motor or engine in front of it to drive the impeller. Google jetboat for more info. In full size they are very inefficient & require lots more HP for the same propeller boat performance but the advantage is that you can run in shallow water because nothing has to protrude below the bottom of the hull.
I have just received my Jetpump, and must say that it certainly is a beautiful bit of work. Well done HK. Cant wait to put it in a hull. Will post more info once its up and running. It cetainly was worth the long wait for it. (over 75 days) Freight wise, it only took just over a week to get to me in New Zealand. Cheers.
Hi Paul. I have one of these on its way to me and will be here mid next week.If you give me a claa I will let you know about them. Cheers, Ian. Napier, NZ 06 8445 360
Have just recievied my jetpump. Would have given it 5 stars but there is no instruction sheet that should have an exploded view with all relevant parts & number. The unit is very well made and looks more impressive than the picture posted of it. Perfectly finnished and spins over smoothly by hand. All parts fit and move together very well. Highly rate this item. Well worth the long wait for it. Hope parts will be available. Need spare impellor & stator for any misshaps. Well done HK. A fine bit of CNC work.

Received mine too, the finish is ok. The strengh of the hull is 2mm aluminium. The scews on the bottomplate are still not countersunk, but you can easily make them. Sadly the hull is not 100pcnt waterproof, you have to disasseble the jetdrive and make some sealing. But still, the overall quality of the drive is ok, but for the price I expected more.
here some pics of the drive and www.link

have received 1 of the 2 pump i've ordered, very impressive looking unit still constructing hull, so I can't check for leaks yet, impeller spins freely, as mentioned by someone else the screws conecting the grate to the pump would have been better if they we're countersunk, but that can be overcome. overall a very good unit (just got to get my hands on the other one).

It arrived after paying the douane in the Netherlands .
When i opened the box , i was a little bit dissapointed .
There was a gap between the 2 halves of the JET .
Near the bearings the gap was more than 1mm .
I measered the gap and took a knife and sissers and made a gasget 0,6mm thick .
I sealed it with silicon and so it fits and seals perfect .
Bearings are now good in place .
I will use the JET with a geared 49cc .
15000 rpm on the jet 10000rpm on the motor .
Motor is a tuned pocket-bike (gag ) engine 49cc .
