Anybodu know what the color is ? It looks like silver/ chrome almost on the left side of picture but it could just be the flash from camera also :/. It looks almost grey / titanium on the right side.

seem to have the classic color of aluminum, chrome slightly, I can not be more precise I'm still waiting for my package

Is it correct that this tail boom work on the 450GT V2 and also on the V1 which has the same number (HZ018). Cause you find this tailboom only in the 450 section and HZ018 is the same like the one for V1 but its not listed in parts for V2. The ArtNr say HK450V2. Whts correct? Thanks for info. But pls only answer if your SURE not only your assumption!

I have used this tail boom on the HK 450 V1 and V2, Titan Pro 450 both belt driven and torque tube tail, and the Trex 450. I do not have a 450GT V2 so I do not know if it fits that heli.

Hi. I have one of this on my Align 450SE v2. And on that heli it fits, just a small improvement. Add a little tape 1 or 2 laps at the end with the small gap (the end towards the heli. This is because the boom is juuust 0,02mm to small. It will cause wag otherwise. Best Regards //Robert F

It will fit the HK V1 through the torque tube drive model.

A word of warning. I ordered some of these along with over 300 dollars worth of other stuff and was carefull to only order what was in stock as I was in a hurry for some of it but figured I could wait the promissed 5 days for dispatch. Ordered on 22/10/2010 and it's now 5/11/2010 and it still say's processing after 14 days. If you need other things quickly don't put these in the same order.

Woo hoo. Coincidence or HK monitoring these posts, I don't know but after writing the above this morning I got an email this same afternoon saying the order has been dispatched.

These are nice but as of yet there is no choice of boom color. I personally am holding off buying any more until a color choice becomes available.

Shipping weight is only 21grams. That sounds cheap to me compared to a lot of other stuff from here.

Myself I am waiting until these are offered in different colors before buying. Also note that you can only get one set of engraving per order. If you want something different you have to order again. Why they do that I haven*t a clue. Same with their tool stand lettering.

Neat idea. I got a 3 letter word, it appears just on the fuselage side of the horizontal stabilizer. Not sure you could get over 8 chars before some text would be under the horizontal stabilizer or servo brackets & servo. The letters are chunky enough you should still be able to read it though.

The printing is nice, clean and resistant. No quality issues. 4 stars only because it has no hole at the rear part of the boom thus not usable for sport/pro tails!
