I bought this cable to fit to my genesis, its under 4mm in DIA and the coupling does not grab it at all....The shaft just pushes into the square end of the drive shaft, no glue or solder required. remember to remove and grease after every time you use it or every second or 3rd pack if you spend the day at the lake.

Yes if it is Hobbyking Genesis..stock drive system is 4mm, so u can use these on it..hope this help.

YES, TristanJones was right..it is not 4mm anymore..previously i bought these and it was 4mm..but now i bought (after it was back on stock) it became 3.8mm..very disappointed with hobbyking..

i have this shaft for my hornet F1 too (for replacement/spare) but there is not enough room/space for the shaft inside the outboard, the stock prop shaft will not fitted with this flex shaft too..you have to change it and the telefon tube to the bigger one too..if you wish to have a try..hope this help

the main shaft is right rotated, so I think, you can't use conter rotating props with this flex shaft (you can, but it won't be good for one flex shaft)

You can because the shaft is soldered in good way but it is not a good idea. Try a solid shaft instead.

If you want put your motor inside the hull, so you can use it, but I'm not sure, if you can use it on outboard motor.

yup fit 4mm..but u have can cut this shaft because this shaft is long...u can get 2 shaft in one price..:D

This flex shaft fits perfectly with the 4mm drive shaft (HK-511B22) and rudder/drive shaft mount (HK-502B20). Hope this helps.

I used brass tube 8x7mm and it fits great. And you have to buy teflon tube and put it inside the brass tube. I bought the teflon tube from r2hobbies.

Yes, this flex shaft/axle is squared at the end tha connects to the drive shaft. This flex shaft works with drive shaft HK-511B22. The other end is round and can be used with any motor coupler/adapter that accepts a 4mm flex shaft such as the 5mm-to-4mm shaft adapter (HK-529B31). Hope this helps! :)
