HobbyKing please make this prop in 1.4 pitch! Then it will be the PERFECT prop for my Genesis, Metal 440 is 7kmh faster, but this one handles a little better.
The hole is 4.8mm and the prop diameter is 42mm. On the package the model name is 5B12*42 which probably means 5mm shaft, 12mm length and 42mm diameter. But those dimensions probably varies a little bit.
most hobby shops sell brass tubing, which can be used perfectly to sleeve these props, one size has the 3/16 (4.76mm) outside diameter with 4mm inner, perfect for using on these props if you have a 4mm shaft.
Hi Duggs The setup for the apparition is a S3674 Motor with 2350Kv(says 2350Kv but actually is 2600Kv after testing),180 Turnigy esc,45mm Grimmracer sharpened and balanced prop,and 2 X 2s 4000Mah 40c batteries hooked in series to make 4s.And I also soldered the flex shaft to the prop shaft for a stronger hold.Make sure there is minimal clearance between motor collet ad brass tube and teflon sleve,1/4 inch max.And yes you can get the brass sleve tubing from hobby store in 36" lengths.Hope this helps.JK.
These are 42mm, 1.2x pitch race props and we have great success using them on our hydro boats. Cast quality is very good and material is strong too. Lot stronger than some other chinese brands found on the auction site.... Price is just right.
Needs to be sharpened and balanced. hole is exact diamaeter

Good prop, good for my Genesis boat. I had to use a sleeve to go from 4mm to 3/16 (4.7mm aprox). The Genesis stock plastic prop had a sleeve in it. I used that after drilling out the hole in the new prop slightly.
