hello, and I bought the 9xpro mode 2 with the Turnigy transmitter dsss and I wonder if it is compatible. and if that was not that ttransmisor and receiver aconsejais pra this station
 v_max 4072 points
Nope. This RX use FHSS protocol. Not compatible with DSSS
 v_max 4072 points
Hmmm... On DSSS module page people reports Turnigy DSSS module work with this RX and and also with HK-T6A.. (both of v2 receivers compatible with stock t9x module) Probably some sort of backwards compatibilty... So I was wrong..Sorry.

hi, i bought the turnigy 9X controller, but it doesn't have the leads to connect the receiver to circuit board on the copter. Where do I find them?
 v_max 4072 points
Usually wires set for connection to receiver are bundled with Flight Controller board not with TX. This is explainable logic... TX may be used for many other applications without this wires necessary. Flight controller can't be used without connecting to RX.

Hi v_max. Thanks, I agree, they should have come with unit, but didn't. I haven't heard back from supplier. I rang two local R/C shops and was told anything relating to Turnigy, contact Hobbyking, so here I am. It looks simple enough, lead with plug each end, but I was unable to find any on the site. Stuart, I has no idea what flight controller you use so Have no idea what plugs you need on FC end. In old style FCs (KK2, MWI_SE/MWI_LITE, CRIUS AIOP, HKPM2.6) this is usually same single pins headers type (2.5mm pitch) as on three rows on RX side. In this case PRODUCT ID: 438000073 is a good solution.. you can easy split it to as many wire strips as you need. This type of connectors (not prewired) widely used in computers and can be easy found at any local electronic components store in various pins counts from 1 to 40 pin. I usually use 40 pin ones and cut as many pins as I need. In case your FC is a bit more modern (HKPM mini, APM mini) then it probably use "micro JST 1.25mm pitch" connectors on FC side. Just search for this string on e b a y (add 10 pins to search or whatever number of pins you need) and you will find a lot of prewired connectors. In this case you anyway would need 2.5mm connectors for RX side as this precrimped connectors has nothing on other end of wire.

Does this include the bind bat?
 NewToHobbyKing 14525 points
Sasa this come with the Receiver and Bind Plug. You need to supply your own Batteries or just use a ESC with uBec to bind. (I do find 4 x AAs work well).

Anybody know if this thing has an RSSI port?
 v_max 4072 points
It doesn't have RSSI out. Over the net you can find 'solutions' to get signal from rssi pin on chip... but as I can see from oscillogramms in fact this solutions are not working as it shows something what is not really rssi.. Rssi value in analog form presents on this pin only in 5% of period and requires external analog sample hold chip to capture the value.. simple RC filters some people beleive work will show you 'weather on Mars ' but not real rssi...

How should one power this receiver with an APM 2.6 controller board so that nothing is overloaded?
 v_max 4072 points
I power RX,GPS and 3DR plus OSD from apm 5v pins on corresponding connectors. Works ok.. APM powered from apm power module... Has same powering on all my projects with full size APM2.6 on HKPilotMini and on mini apm 3.1

I am very satisfied with this unit ... I ordered it like five, and five operate.

how do you lose the range of 100 m? you have made several tests?

At the range I could be tested only 3 for now but the three were perfect (almost invisible models) ZERO problem.

This module weight 19grammes. if we remove the box and two screws, its total weight is 9grammes.

it is also possible to unsolder the connection plate and solder directly servos wires on the rx ( lot of place, very easy ).The final weight drops to 7 grams

definitely a great product

HOW TO BIND NEW RECIVER: 1. Ignore the "BIND" and BAT order, 2. Plug Battery into BIND pins 3. Plug bind cord (cable) into BAT pins red led will start flashing 4. Hold the "BIND RANGE BUTTON" on TX 5. Turn ON the TX (hold still button). 6. Red LED will stay ON, Turn Off TX, unplug battery, remove bind cord. Thats all :)

For some time now I have it ordered, but not in stock. As well as transmitters. Excellent product at a reasonable price, but unavailable. I give only four crowns.
