Channels by themselves do not work as on/off switches, but you can either buy a remote on/off switch (for example product nr. 9107000247-0) or you can make yourself one from discarded servo with good electronics.
Hi all! I have with connecting naza light and turnigy 9x (receiver & transmitter). I've bind transmitter & receiver. When plug esc directly to receiver - engines start OK, but when I connect NAZA between nothing happens. When plug naza to PC (naza assist write error: Please may sure you select the right receiver type in the RC page or check the receiver connection,after that power cycle your controller to take effect.) I connect receiver with naza standart ppm method: 1-A 2-E 3-T 4-R 5-X1 6-X2 7-U what's wrong?
Never used NAZA, but can suggest something.
Receiver should be powered. When you connect ESC to it, speed controller provide power to receiver. Probably NAZA don't have BEC and can't power receiver. when you connect battery to ESCs, ESCs to NAZA, and multimeter to NAZAs channel 3 (positive and gnd - red and black) - it should show 5V or so (check pinout). If it doesn't - your controller doesn't provide power to receiver and you need to power it separately (with standalone BEC or however). Hope that helps.
I solve a problem with connection, but my engines still do not start cause of bad calibration of one stick. It has level -1000 on the left, but just 938 on the right. Because of this I can not start engines. Trimming is not possible with NAZA. How could I solve this thing?
Check all rotary pots on transmitter and set it all to 0. Then check model type on TX - some of them have "throttle curve" option... Actually it's better to set it up as new model (check some naza manual for choosing acro or glide or heli model-type). And yes! Check trims on TX (it's small buttons near the sticks - their state is shown on display - black arrow is when zero or middle and white is when trimmed any way). Hope that helps.
i have a question. i don't exactly know the issue. when i connect the esc to the receiver it works and the motors spin fine. but when i connect them all up to the flight controller they do nothing. i hear the beeps and everything. but the motors don't spin. any ideas? and yes i made sure they where connected correctly to the flight controller
This sounds more like a flight controller issue than a receiver, if you are using some of the more intelligent fc-s like Multiwii or Ardu, check the GUI, do you see the throttle change? if yes is it on the correct channel? If all of this is correct, you coud still check the mincommand value, maybe your default throttle is so low that it wont let your esc-s arm. Lastly check the trimms and end points on the transmitter, cause the other possibility would be, that your 0 throttle is so hight that your esc-s go straight into programming mode, but this one is higly unlikely. Check the flight controller manual - there's motor arm function. If you don't arm the motors they will not spin. Arming is different from model to model - on my aeroquad it's down-right stick to arm and down-left to disarm. Hope that helps.

how do you lose the range of 100 m? you have made several tests?
At the range I could be tested only 3 for now but the three were perfect (almost invisible models) ZERO problem.
This module weight 19grammes. if we remove the box and two screws, its total weight is 9grammes.
it is also possible to unsolder the connection plate and solder directly servos wires on the rx ( lot of place, very easy ).The final weight drops to 7 grams

Au niveau de la porte je n'ai pu en tester que 3 pour le moment mais les 3 taient parfaits ( modeles presque plus visibles ) ZERO probleme.
ce module pse 19grammes. si l'on enlve l'emballage grce deux visses, son poids total est de 9grammes.
il est galement possible de dessouder la platine de connection et de souder directement les fils des servos sur la carte electronique.Le poids descend 7 grammes
dfinitivement un excellent produit

HOW TO BIND NEW RECIVER: 1. Ignore the "BIND" and BAT order, 2. Plug Battery into BIND pins 3. Plug bind cord (cable) into BAT pins red led will start flashing 4. Hold the "BIND RANGE BUTTON" on TX 5. Turn ON the TX (hold still button). 6. Red LED will stay ON, Turn Off TX, unplug battery, remove bind cord. Thats all :)

just tested it...good range, complete features just like any other expensive tx ! yet the price is so affordable.. but have been waiting long enough for the additional rx to back in stock...you should hurry HobbyKing on prepring the rx ! 'coz the waiting list is getting higher.
