Bind plug goes to bind/bat socket.
and connecting top pin to bottom (bind input to ground pin)... while binding RX can be powered through any channel socket... all bottom row pins are GND (negative) and connected together. All mid row pins are plus 5v (positive) and aslo connected together. You can use any pair to power RX... just be sure you do not reversed power and power is in 4.5-6v range.
Tsdzalie the receiver has a power range of 4.5V to 6.5V. It is safe in those Ranges. If you would like to see how to bind then go to You Tubes. There is a video there showing how. (When I bind I use a little 4 x AA battery pack. It is very safe and easy).
You always can keep your stock TX module from this TX to keep compatibilty...Also FlySky TH9X module (FS-RM002) is compatible... But one thought... transmitter itself is exelent ...worst thing is TX module and RX ... so if you will want to upgrade something in future more likely it will be stock TX module/RX.
My advice not to waste money on stock tx module and rxes... get moduleless version and tx module/rx of your choice.... my choice is frsky DJT module and d4r-II receivers... awesome range, failsafe, low signal and low battery alarm... small and lightweight...
Just for the record a bind plug is just a peice of wire that connects signal to ground. (s to -). so if you are ever in a bind (excuse the pun) figure out a way to connect the first and last prong in the bind port. Ali-gator Clips, Carefuly placed wire, a 1 position cable looped s through -. You can also take a 3 position servo cable, take out the first two cables out of their sockets, and loop the 3rd one back into the outer most position and you made yourself a bind cable!
I am very satisfied with this unit ... I ordered it like five, and five operate.
how do you lose the range of 100 m? you have made several tests?
At the range I could be tested only 3 for now but the three were perfect (almost invisible models) ZERO problem.
This module weight 19grammes. if we remove the box and two screws, its total weight is 9grammes.
it is also possible to unsolder the connection plate and solder directly servos wires on the rx ( lot of place, very easy ).The final weight drops to 7 grams

Au niveau de la porte je n'ai pu en tester que 3 pour le moment mais les 3 taient parfaits ( modeles presque plus visibles ) ZERO probleme.
ce module pse 19grammes. si l'on enlve l'emballage grce deux visses, son poids total est de 9grammes.
il est galement possible de dessouder la platine de connection et de souder directement les fils des servos sur la carte electronique.Le poids descend 7 grammes

HOW TO BIND NEW RECIVER: 1. Ignore the "BIND" and BAT order, 2. Plug Battery into BIND pins 3. Plug bind cord (cable) into BAT pins red led will start flashing 4. Hold the "BIND RANGE BUTTON" on TX 5. Turn ON the TX (hold still button). 6. Red LED will stay ON, Turn Off TX, unplug battery, remove bind cord. Thats all :)

For some time now I have it ordered, but not in stock. As well as transmitters. Excellent product at a reasonable price, but unavailable. I give only four crowns.

just tested it...good range, complete features just like any other expensive tx ! yet the price is so affordable.. but have been waiting long enough for the additional rx to back in stock...you should hurry HobbyKing on prepring the rx ! 'coz the waiting list is getting higher.
