This is suitable to any boat. I run it on 450mm boat well. If you want best performance - find online calculator to install prop on right angle and with right motor. I use ADS300 watercooled motor with 30A ESC watercooled too but I don't think that's best - it's just good and speedy.
Thank you Anikeev.I am going with L2210-1230 since it has 3mm dia and satisfies my reqmnts.I will be glad evn if my ship goes extremelly slow.So im planning to buy L2210-1230 motor,2s lipo, 30 amp esc (since this motor can draw 20 amp).I hope the prop which comes with this will make it go fast ...shal i increase to 40mm less pitch .Guess this config willl go good. Sorry for lots f questions since this is my first one.
Anikeev , I am newbie to this rc hobby, I was planning to use ///Turnigy D2836/11 750KV Brushless Outrunner Motor// with the 4mm prop set..But now can i change my motor to /////2213N 800Kv Brushless Motor///bcoz it has 3mm shaft dia ....I am doing all this for a homemade ship app (2-3kg) using (2s lipo,35A esc)and i need less speed for my ship and less throttle is sufficient.....Will this combination go well with this 4mm prop shaft set with a bigger prop (eg 40mm).
Well, lower KV means slower motor. I have watercooled ADS300 boat motor with KV about 2000 so your motor will be much slower but more powerful. I wouldn't recommend to use 2213N 800Kv motor - it requires only 9A in peak but your 35A ESC is too powerful. If you want to have slow and powerful motor I would recommend L2210-1230 or even D3128-1550 as outrunner motor. Inrunner SKU 9031000129 is good too (you can use it with sleeve SKU BP22-Sleeve
I think you can use different prop as far as it have same hole (4mm) and same knob. If it's plastic prop you can file it to fit. Anyway, I have two really big props (about 50 or 60mm) and there's different size knob and hole. I can measure everything you want in this prop-shaft set and post it here.
Alu-Welle mit 4mm Durchmesser. Propellerseitig mit M4 Stopmutter, für 4mm Propeller mit Drive-Dog Aufnahme. Wellenkupplung auf der Motorseite leider mit 3.17mm Bohrung, musste ich auf 4mm aufbohren.
Alle Teile aus ALU.
