More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech lithium polymer batteries are built with an LiCo nano-technology substrate complex greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.
For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!
Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!
Suited to the following models: E-flite MCX, MCX2, MSR
* The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. 1) The nanometer conductive additives form ultrastrong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity. 2) These additives create a superstrong ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly. Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries; -Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg. -Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load. -Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mΩ compared to that of 3mΩ of a standard Lipoly. -Greater thermal control, pack usually doesnt exceed 60degC -Thickness swelling during heavy load doesnt exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly during heavy load. -Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate. -Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries. -Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.
Not 100% real....This battery doesn't fit the v911 "OLD" plug, you need to change skids on "OLD" versions on v911 with the new one which has the right connector for this battery....
The plug on this one may be difficult for you.
The Solo Pro 270 uses a 3.7V 150mAh Li-Po Battery/
I think you need this Nine Eagles replacement High-Cap 150mAh 1S LiPo.
PRODUCT ID: NE-1501S
Yes 10c I see that in the description now, thank you.
So technically it is possible to charge this tiny battery at 1.3 amps. which would work out to be a 6minuite charge time. At $1.30 each it would be an inexpensive experiment to see how one holds up compared to a cell charged regularly at 2c.Think I'll try it!
Hello Jim
Indeed, the price is too low for an experiment like that, but please, do the fast charge on an ceramic vase, that one used to settle flowers, just to prevent any serious damage on your workshop.
In other hand, due the low price of the batteries, it's a good practice, buy a lot of them and charge them slowly using 1c or less. This practice will provide longer flights and long life for the batteries, where you will save money at the end. But it's just a sugestion!
I've tried to charge one of these on high current but it got very warm as it's too small to dissipate the heat efficiently. Edney has a good suggestion there, get many instead as they're cheap.
These do NOT fit V911 or FP100. I bought 10 of them for mine and a charge harness. I have now cut 1 lead off my charge harness and wired it to the V911 so I can use them.
Hi, my wife purchased this for my son, i am looking for a Battery that i can purchase from you that is compatible to this-
E-flite
70mAh 1S 3.7v 14C Li-Po Battery Scout CX
This is the replacement Li-Po battery pack for the Blade Scout CX Helicopter.
thanks
Bonjour,
Cordialement
Can you charge this battery on the eflite celectra 4 port which charges at .3 Amps? Which battery is best for the ParkZone Micro T-28? This or the Turnigy 160 mah and do these batteries come with the velcro?
The best charge rate for this battery is between 0.1 and 0.2 Amps. Either battery would work great with the micro T-28 but the 160 mah would give just a little more flight time.
I only charge it with the eflite 4 port, seems just right to me. Slightly less than 2C charge rate, seems kinda high for these little batteries but my e-flight batters were mostly smaller and have had less longevity over many months of use so its probably fine.
Not sure these are meant to be used as an explosive. Pretty sure they're just for powering small helicopters and planes. I could be entirely mistaken though.
What do you expect. It is only 130mah. All the youtube videos of exploding lipos are taken with a much larger pack, for example, a 1000mah 2S, which is roughly 16x larger in volume and stored energy.
Helo! This Helicopter fly perfectly. The charger work perfectly with the original Lipo. I ordered 4 pieces Turnigy nano-tech 130mah Lipos which recommended from HobbyKing for this Helicopter and received 4 pieces bloated Lipos. No answer from Hobbyking since one week.
The bloated Lipo´*s charge not enough power. The Helicopter will not take of. The Lipo´*s are defective. Bevore I get no response from HK, I avoid HK now. I have now ordered the original LiPo´*s (HP1363033) for the EF136 from Germany.
hey, ive had this problem, they wouldnt charge after they had expanded, but they didnt come that way, mine went that way after i charged then an didnt use them for a month, i just re ordered more, i would suggest if they arent charging then then have come faulty, an you should go back onto them an re submit a fault, i had a faulty speed controller once an they wanted me to order some other things so they could include a new one in the package, so there arent really that great about sending t
Surprise, after two weeks I received an answer from HK. "We got your pictures, please give us some time to handle this matter for you Sir." Please, wait...
To those who have found the batteries puff up after charging - this is almost certainly caused by the charger. The USB charger cable supplied with some helis, eg the HK136, will charge the battery that comes with heli fine, because that battery has protection circuitry built in. Any other battery will puff up though, because the charger supplies unregulated 5V USB output.
I miss the 160mAh ones, too. So I had to purchase the 130mAh one ... i'm looking forward to testing it. will show my results in some months (depending on when they arrive).
I bought two pieces of such a battery.
I use these xieda 9958, xieda 9998 helicopter.
I am very satisfied with it. I can fly it for a longer time
than the original battery
Amazing lipo, works every bit as well as the other high end brands. Only issue I ran into was their length. When being used on an MCX2, you cannot push the lipo in its cradle all the way, else it will touch the servos and stop them from working.
I have bought many micro helicopters in the past and had the stock batteries fail constantly, but thanks to turnigy nano tech batteries i have been running the same helicopter on the same battery for over 1 whole year and not had a single problem. I am inclined to think that the rest of the helicopter will break before the battery will! :D
