Should be ok, maybe a little large for the wire but your connection with solder and another terminal may need the extra room. General rule of thumb* it will shrink to about 50 of original size* though you don't need to allow that much. Stuff is priced great* order a variety. You'll be amazed how much you use it!

before shrinking, the minimum size will be approximately half the original size (maybe more, but this is a good rule of thumb for pipe contraction)
